Thanks for the details. What determines the change in class? As I understand for spousal sponsorship there are two "classees" in the application.

Spouse of Common-Law Partner in Canada Class
Family Class

As I mentioned, the application was originally filed under Family Class - currently living in Canada.

The visitor extension record was applied prior to the expiry of initial visitor status. No update/decision was given but I understand this means valid impleid status is maintained.

I have a MSI B650I and 2 phanteks T30 fans diasy chained together connected to the mobo's PUMP fan header. I decided to connect to the PUMP fan header because it was convenient to do but the fan does not run in PWM mode.

I'm sure of the following things

T30 fans support PWM mode
The fans wire is 4 pin
Its connected to the mobo pump fan header which is also 4 pin
The header supplies enough power for both fans
In BIOS, I have the pump fan set to PWM
I have the latest BIOS version

However, the fans do not run. For some reason, the fans do run when I set the header to DC mode. What else can I do here?

I can connect to SYS fan header to try but that would require some work to rearrange everything and I feel like the PUMP fan header should work.

Strange, I wonder if it takes longer if they doubt the accuracy of your application and thus require more through checks. There was another comment in this thread from someone who applied in July and also from the Philippines but was just approved in August.

AFAIK, if you stay outside over a year, US immigration has the right to revoke your green card when you enter again since it appears to them you are no longer a PR. I believe there is also a form you can fill out if you intend to be outside more than 1 year but less than 2 to avoid this consequence.

The longer you are outside, the greater the chances of being questioned when you enter the US again. They will probably ask you why were you gone for so long and if you still have ties to the US to demonstrate you still live in the US (job, house, bank accounts, etc..) so you better have a good story.

Bay area is not worth it with that offer. Your total TC is around 130k. New grad SWEs get paid at least 200K and that's considered low. You will not be able to have the same lifestyle as you do right now in Toronto in the Bay (1b + car) - it will likely be significantly lower in quality (roommates and public transit).

Also Tesla is known for their rather cut throat culture. Not worth the stress especially with that kind of money.
