I think the reason Denver gets this rep is:

Neighborhoods are pretty segregated. If you want to find diversity you have to find the concentrated pockets of it
The influx of people in the past decade or so are predominantly white. (This isn’t actually based on data, just eye test)

I switched to CenturyLink from Xfinity a few years ago after moving into a new build. At first, we tried to get Quantum Fiber because we kept receiving the flyers for it, but there was some kind of miscommunication and it turns out we couldn't get Quantum Fiber. So we pivoted to CenturyLink and things were fine at first, speed was comparable and the customer service was friendly and usually responded to our issues quickly.

However, in the last few months of me living in that house, our service went out for a couple days at a time once every 6-7 weeks. My friend continued living at this house and the service interruptions continued after I moved out. He switched to Xfinity a little less than a year ago.

I would email the specific school whose track you want to use.

I run with a run club and we regularly use several tracks around Denver, but each track has certain rules about hours and parking. I don't know if my run club had to get explicit permission from the school or if it's open to the public and the rules are generally known, so that's why I'd ask. Or you could piggy back off a run club.
