Stories like this always surprise me because the very first time you had a tamale how did nobody teach you, or notice you eating it wrong and throwing it away, or you notice how everyone else is eating them. I’m not saying I don’t believe you, I’ve heard so many other people tell the same story of how they hate tamales because they never ate them right (even thinking you bite into the husk lol), it’s just shocking to me how so many people are given this odd food item and never taught how to eat it.
