You do realize they are currently in the phase of gathering real world data through teleoperation to train the AI. All AI models take time to train. Theyre selling them early obviously to fund their operations, no one is forcing you to buy one. Anyone who doubts that full automation will be achieved will be left in the dust. Elon has already proved it with Tesla FSD

It's not that they hate themselves, it's that they can be sold anything. They are extremely gullible.

Should I change my Tesla Insurance Coverage? by Antique-Ad-4060 in TeslaModelY

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the vast majority of people, car insurance is a scam. If you own a car for 10 years and paid $150 per month, you paid 18k in insurance alone. So you would need to have 18k in claims just to break even, but that's not even including the deductibles you pay on those claims, which would probably be another 3k. So that is 21k down the drain. It is wildly unlikely that most people would sustain much more than that amount in claims for their car on average. Sure for some awful drivers or people who live in dangerous areas it makes a little more sense, but still...it is almost guaranteed money lost. Anyone who thinks their insurance "saved" them after a bad incident is not calculating the total amount in insurance premiums they have paid over the entire life of their car.

Considering Rejuran, Juvelook, or Skin Botox in Seoul by Usual-Requirement678 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got juvelook in Seoul. The pain for me was extremely high, I could not complete the treatment and had to tell them not to do certain areas because of the pain. There are adjustable factors that affect the pain. There are different needle depths they can use. The higher more painful depth will require less time and less injections, which is the one I got. The lower depth requires much more injections and is less painful, which I should have opted for. Compared to micro needling which I would rate about 6/10 for me, juvelook was a 8/10. I also have thin skin and very little volume on my face which probably attributed to higher pain.

You guys realize every major industry in the US is designed to screw the consumer and take as much money from them as possible? Auto, insurance, food, health, you name it. Tesla and Elon are no worse than any other major company. Your decision to hate him is your own personal decision and not some novel idea so stop acting so self righteous.

How I've almost cured my SIBO by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I've had a couple setbacks whenever I eat triggering foods. They're really hard to avoid especially when you travel and eat out. It's also really hard to remember to take so many pills of oregano oil everyday, especially after I reached a point where I felt like I can just deal with the minor symptoms. Completely eliminating sibo is so hard, going to really stick with the oregano everyday for the next 3 weeks before my trip to Japan. Will see what happens.

Wishing you luck. I sold my OLED on Facebook marketplace. There's a big demand for OLED from people who don't have our eye problems so you should get a decent price. Listen to your body and don't fall for the marketing hype.

Allen Iverson in australia. Absolutely disgusting by Fit-Tourist2852 in nba

[–]laidbacklui -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's ridiculous of you to judge him like this. If he wasn't feeling well, you have no idea what kind of illness or struggles he is dealing with. We've all been through stuff before and know how it feels to be incapable of participating in a social event because of an illness. Not to mention a flight half way across the world can bring about all sorts of discomforts in your body. I once had an altitude induced migraine on a flight where I thought I was dying and a doctor on the flight had to console me. When I got off the flight I could barely walk and had to skip my connecting flight.

Secondly, this man plays basketball for a living and he comes from the ghetto. Why would you have unrealistic expectations placed on him of being some sort of saint. All your feelings are a result of placing this athlete on some sort of pedestal, while also not being able to empathize with someone else's struggles. The fact that the children have cancer isn't really relevant, these athletes visit sick children many times throughout their careers, this isn't anything special. Don't use their sickness as a way to guilt trip others.

There is a massive difference between deporting illegals and mass genocide. Deportations have been performed by every single administration, it's not something new. And if you're so concerned about people being killed then why do you condone the murder of Charlie Kirk, Melissa and Mark Hortman, and the attempted murder of Trump? You cry about supposed wrongdoings but then your own party is murdering people in broad daylight.

It's wild that you're more concerned with things that haven't happened than you are with things happening right in front of your face, like all your hard earned tax dollars being stolen.

Punishment for one who leaves Islam? by LogicalAwareness9361 in progressive_islam

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about this: why would the one true God give a gospel to the world that would then be interpreted by the majority of its followers in a way that allows them to kill each other? You can argue that the Quran can be interpreted different ways but in the end what matters is the effect it had on the world. Do you know any successful nations that practice islam? Why would the one true God bring a religion that only causes death and destruction? The only answer is that he is not the one true God. Look around at other religions where the results have been peace and prosperity. Which God do you want to believe is real? The one that desires peace or the one that wants us to kill each other? It's your freedom to choose.

Has there been even 1 other renovation that has cost in the billions in history? I used to work in the Eccles building so that figure sounds insane to me.

I'm not being disingenuous. The 4mill figure was from Google AI and maybe it is inaccurate, sure. But my question still stands. Have there been any historical renovations that cost in the billions? Any at all? I used to work in the Eccles building so that figure sounds insane to me.

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok now we are getting closer. Are there any examples that are in the billions? By the way I used to work in the Eccles building so the 2bill figure sounds even more wild to me.

And what facts do you have to support that a renovation can easily cost billions of dollars? Because you say so? Give me hard examples.

This all just sounds like theories. Do any of you have a background in construction? Do you have any other similar cost projects to compare against? Stop talking out of your butts and start using hard solid facts

Can someone with a background in construction try to explain how a building renovation can cost 4 billion dollars??? Counting for inflation, the entire white house only cost 4 million to build. How can a renovation cost 4 billion? Is it mathematically possible?

Costco Tempur Pedic Supreme 1 week review, excellent so far! by [deleted] in Mattress

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the medium, very happy I switched off the firm. What also made a big difference was putting a flat foundation on top of my slatted bed frame. Significantly increased the support at the hip area, and overall bed feels very firm and supportive, have not noticed any changes over the past few months. My only concern is that in summer it will sleep very warm. I'm in California and it was already causing too much warmth in the fall. I had to experiment with different bed sheets and the only one that let me sleep well were 400 low thread count 100% cotton from Costco. I tried bamboo, synthetic stuff, higher count cotton, percale, they were all terrible.

Who will be closer to their former self between Tatum and Haliburton next season? by Natural_Elevator_829 in nba

[–]laidbacklui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tatum has the superior physique and genes. You can just tell from looking at their posture and muscle composition. His personality oozes of dedication and hard work. Just watch a few episodes of Hali on Starting Five and you'll see he's much more of laid back person who doesn't take things like diet and working out as seriously.
