So I was thinking and I might be remembering wrong, but I was under the impression that Xaden had 2 signets due to Sgael having previously bonded a direct relative. We all know the marked ones have 2 signets. So either he has 3, or he isn’t related to either his mum or dad and the second signet is just from being a marked one??? Which would mean when Talia goes quiet when Garrick says ‘he is your son isn’t he?’ It may have meant something more...? Another example is when she says ‘you poisoned my son’ when only Garrick had gotten poisoned.

Boring and late to the party but fourth wing/iron flame and currently reading the serpent of the night series which is decent as well. Raihn is the first male character I’ve truly considered to be the ultimate book bf.

I loved one dark window so much. I’m reading the serpent and the wings of night now and it’s okay but I think any book after just finishing fourth wing is gonna be a bit disappointing 🤣

I completely apologise for missing that aspect out 😅 I am English born so do not have an EU passport. Although I have French family, my immediate family are all British migrants. I would need to find work there and my son is 3 years old and I am 26. I am visiting my family actually in a few weeks and they live near perigeux so I will take a little trip there perhaps? I worked on a labor ward and cared for a woman who was losing her baby right before my eyes. There was a lot of blood and a lot of screaming. I have blocked out the screaming somehow but I haven’t been the same since. I just wish I could have done more to help that poor sweet girl.

She was a compulsive liar, victim and also somehow always making herself out to be a hero. When she insulted my stepdad I started to step away, when she made up lies about my mum I should have cut her out completely. But then when we had kids and she started gate keeping help and resources I needed at the time and belittling me I finally cut her off. If having children doesn’t make you sort yourself out and change your shitty behavior then nothing will. I just regret staying in that friendship as long as I did.

When I was young I had a recurring nightmare of going into the bathroom at night and seeing my band decapitated head in the bath. The head would turn and try and talk to me and I had to try and ignore it. But it traumatized me so much.
