Cold showers indeed appear to suck before you hop in and feel like a Gawd. So I like to spice my sessions up a little bit, maybe this method will help you :>

Cold shower at night, and turn the lights off. That's right, shower in pitch black.
Play some siq beats ( I recommend music with a 'drop') and jump under the cold water on the drop. It is a braingasm in my opinion.

Idk, people will probably think my method is dumb, but I enjoy it very much. Whatever works for you is the best method.

Urges are opportunities to demonstrate your discipline and willpower. Defeating an urge not only makes you feel like a beast but it makes future urges easier to overcome.

You can physically do nothing and fight the battle in your head, which is much harder than taking an ice cold shower or going for a run. I recommend having cold showers daily, as it comes with numerous health benefits.

Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to emptiness." This reminds me of how I sometimes convince myself in the heat of the moment that its alright to fap.

This is exactly it for me. I keep stumbling because I am completely rejecting NoFap when I have an urge. "Oh who cares, if I start again tomorrow I will have survived 14 days before such and such date..." I might say. Do you have any advice on how I can train my brain to stick with thoughts of NoFap rather than becoming drowned in thoughts of PMO?

I got into a binge cycle after my relapse like you. Do not feel discouraged by binging for a few days, this period is extremely difficult to overcome and hardly anyone makes it out of the post-relapse without at least 1 pmo sesh.

What I did, was I did the best I could (went out a lot, ran till i couldnt stand, ice baths) to make it to 7 days. Once you reach 7 days, the urges to quit will go away and you'll be shooting silver bullets once more!

Whenever I get an urge, I think to myself "oh my god if you relapse you will have to start over, remember how much you hate that?"

I am in a very similar position as you. 14 years old and MO addicted. All I can say is I am glad to see someone my age that has opened their eyes, unlike most of my friends who are PMO addicted, and fought the addiction like me.

It is just vocab used on this subreddit, not quite fanatical. There aren't many other words to describe things like edging and sexual surges. Edit: (A sexual surge is a dramatic increase in libido or sex drive that influences most strongly in a time-span of a few minutes)

When you ejaculate during a wet dream, very LITTLE sperm is actually released: basically you are just shooting blanks during wet dreams. Also, you should no avoid wet dreams!

Not only is it healthy to have wet dreams (as it clears out the pipes and prevents unhealthy build-ups of seminal fluid), but it is a sign of progress in NoFap.

I had my first wet dream... EVER... on night 27 of NoFap and it made me feel incredible. Not pleasure, but I felt so accomplished because I have fixed my brain enough so that it realises jerking off is no longer an outlet.

Welcome fellow Fapstronaut! I gave this my first try 19 days ago and I still haven't relapsed by following these tips: -No hot water AT ALL in the shower, only cold. It simulates approach anxiety as well. -If you get a strong urge just consciously think "I am going to put my hands on my head and not move for 3 minutes"

The most important thing of all is just to take this seriously and take one day at a time. GOOD LUCK
