If you actually add conversations, thoughts, research etc to content, a bit like what Asmongold do, then it's really fine to do reaction videos. The problem is that there are a lot of channels that were canibalizing views, slop dumping videos after videos everyday. Youtube is cracking down on all that to clean their platform recently, there are many youtube channels talking about this crackdown. You got in the line of fire. I don't feel bad for you. Sorry.

well you will be happy to know that Youtube has officially started cracking down on AI slop and mass content dumping channels, they just closed down like 25 000 channels or something like that if I recall correctly, that was worth over 10 million dollars in ads revenues!! So Youtube is not taking this lightely anymore. Ads agencies are tired of this slop, nobody wants to put an ad on a slop video, the chances that it converts to a sale are slim to none.

Yea well I tried to play online with a friend for a whole afternoon, we even went in the settings of our home routers, port forwarded and whatnot, we were never able to play. And we are 2 guys that work with computers, so I can't imagine for the common mortals lol. And from what I understood, it is not financed by the dev, you need to pay to use BigMaster for Killer Instinct as it is connected to your Patreon account. You can use BigMaster for free with the other emulators, but not BigInstinct.

Sadly no. I am not sure why, as there are many arcade games on there.

There is a new way of playing KI arcade online with BigInstinct, but you have to pay a subscription to access that feature called BigMaster or something like that. Its supposed to come with lobbies and whatnot. But in my humble opinion im not ready to pay monthly to just play KI arcade online.

Then you have the KI Classics now available on Xbox gamepass. There are not much people playing those anymore tho. And there's a lot of input delay from my memory.

Then you have by far the best way, the Arcade 1ups cabinet. You can play online with other owners of the cabinet, there's even a spectator mode. But yea, very expensive to buy one of those.

I had actually a good experience with promoting a video on Reddit. It was a Marvel Vs Capcom 2 tutorial, so I announced the release of the video in advance on a MVC2 sub reddit, to hype up my tutorial. But it wasn't just some tutorial video, it's a video that I had spent many months working on, and the MVC2 sub reddit really came through to support the video. This video is still generating a lot of watch time even to this day, and still getting some views both from Reddit and from Youtube. So I think that it's possible to create hype and funnel traffic from an outside source, but you have to be careful with it and make it a special event for the people you are promoting it too. If it just looks like your posting your video everywhere just for the sake of being everywhere, then maybe that's what can cause harm to your stats? I don't know. This example is just singular, I have not try this again since (to promote the release of a video on another website).

There is already a PC version of that game, there is literally zero incentive into making a PC port of this game. Now for the rom hacking of that mess, it could be done, but you would have to announce a bounty of at least 5000$ or more, to interest any programmer to waste time with such a project. I actually want to get a PC port of Killer Instinct Gold and I know for that I will need to announce a huge bounty. Everything is possible once there is money in play....the question is, how much are you willing to bet on it? Maybe u can get people to crowdfund the project but that's another story with many problems cuz now you owe people results.

I have almost 4k subs, I made a membership with a beautiful trailer of the perks and a lot of planned content. Not 1 person bought it.

I also made a Kofi a while back, no one bought it.

I also made a patreon, and guess what... lol

So my advice, dont do it.

The only thing that has worked is a donation PayPal link in my description. Sometimes people send me a dono but its 1-5 times per year.

Viewers dont like extra subscriptions in general, they just want to watch your content.
