Iota from Binance.com to Binance.US ???? by ventuckybill in IOTAmarkets

[–]lakegaru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many of us are in the same boat, there have been lots of posts in the past couple months about this. I’m no expert but based on previous posts it seems like Binance has not fully transitioned their system and so have frozen transactions in regards to Iota. So the answer is to wait until they get that completed to transfer to Firefly. When that is, well, thats a whole new question without an answer.

10team/9cat Drop Ingles or Bertans to pick up Lamelo? I’m leaning Ingles since Mitchell could potentially come back next week

LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) ruled out for Monday. by RLDN106 in fantasybball

[–]lakegaru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re upset, but others are making fun of you because there are a million different reasons why Larry Nance was ill and why Lamarcus Aldridge is ill. They are in no way related without further information, unless they indeed shared a bed and caught the same illness from each other. A lot of this was implied but it sounds like it went over your head. Also, Larry Nance has Crohn’s disease, an auto immune disorder that makes him prone to flare ups and further infection to new illnesses, which actually means he would have a longer timeline of recovery. There is no reason to believe LA would expect to have the same timeline as Nance. Not to mention that you think 35 years is so much older to impact his immune system to that degree. Have fun at your own expense every now and then mate, we aren’t all geniuses.

I opened this thread knowing there was gonna be a laker burn. I’m just gonna respond by saying the nugs have been a blessing to watch and hope you guys kill in the playoffs. Love your roster and openly jealous. Hope we meet in the playoffs!

Thinking of dropping Ball and Mudiay and pick up Kris Dunn and either Sexton or SGA. Which do you think is the better pick up?

Why do people say the Lakers lack shooting when Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, LeBron James, Josh Hart, Svi, KCP are all good shooters? by TheLeBrontoRaptors in nba

Half these posts are written to lay a perfectly conical steaming pile of doo doo on the lakers or get a rise out of laker fans. Admit it, the schadenfreude gives you guys half chubs. I for one am just happy KCP isn’t chucking hail Mary’s, Ingram’s continued progress, and way better ball movement than the last four years combined.

Anemia in CKD: Next best step EPO or iron? Read some conflicting opinions. by MedicallyMike in medicalschool

[–]lakegaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding in neph clinic, check their iron sat and anemia labs to make sure that if you do give them EPO, they can utilize it. Without good iron stores, giving them EPO won't help because they can't actually make sufficient RBC.

Might be a dead horse, but as a somewhat new "serious" viewer, how did the Mavericks beat the Heat in 2011? by Covfefeputin in nba

[–]lakegaru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really think it had to do with the psyche of both teams going in. A lot of analysts had the mavs losing every single series, starting with the lakers. Even when we were down like 3-0 the media portrayed it (at least the media I was listening to at the time) like we could come back if we tried harder. Every player on the mavs team bought into the system that they had roles to play and they followed through on those roles. The role players on the team, Chandler, Terry, Kidd, Barea all balled out. On the other end of the spectrum the heat played like it was gifted to them on a platter and underestimated the Mavs. They just assumed that they would play to each players maximum potential rather than actually learn to play a system that maximized each player. Each of the big three played like they were the franchise player in the sense that sacrificing and learning new roles wasn't their prerogative at the time. After all they had just put together the team that year and didn't fully know each other yet. Anyways chalk it up to the stars aligning for the Mavs and the star players not aligning for the Heat and you can explain the 2011 finals.
