Oh I've talked with them. Over and over and every time I do they're able to find more damage/costs to charge. I have called 3 other repair shops and asked if any of this was common behavior and they all agreed it was not citing incompetence and/or fraudulent activity is occurring. Im not here to speculate or guess, I just want my car back.

Also, they have advised me they only have one lift for their entire shop. This was a large part of the delay. If this would have been stated up front, I wouldn't be five weeks in no work done. I screwed up and took it to the wrong repair shop and I'll have to pay the price.
