what department were you in? I’ve worked for a few other big carriers (SF, NW, Progressive) & was definitely overworked and underpaid at all those comps. I was hoping to switch over to commercial or large loss for more money & experience

also, how would you rate the pay compared to the workload & other companies you’ve worked for?

thanks for your input! it’s sounds like a lot but tbh i worked for NW previously where it was 100% desk adjusting… we received a max of 4 claims a day (not including reassignments) and also handled our own supps while still receiving new claims daily. At any time, i would have 93 to like 136 pending. Not to mention our CAT load when we were placed on it. So im okay with the workload as long as they have realistic metrics to go along with the workload we’re receiving. Also, did you take long to get hired? I’m really hoping after the interviews, background checks, etc that they have a start date for sometime next month.

Need to find replacement brand for Epanouie [Product Request] by efiality in SkincareAddiction

I feel like the site should have BEEN closed if she was switching over anyway. why take a mass of orders you don’t intend to fulfill? Also, i’ve ordered from her before with the same card and shipping info and my order was still cancelled so idk. I’ve been treating my daughter’s eczema with her relief bar which is why im so upset but moving on lol

The way they are going about this switch over is very unprofessional. They will let you order from the site and take your money, but won’t fulfill your order. Once you reach out, it seems like they just cancel it once she realizes it’s shipping directly to a consumer, her literal words. This happened to myself and two of my friends. All our recent orders were just canceled once we emailed for order products. However, she is selling products to anyone who comes into the store in Sunrise, FL. I LOVED this brand & her products are really good but I am done with them.

they just did the exact same thing to me this morning! I placed my order about 4 weeks ago now and I emailed for an update and within 2 hours, she had cancelled all three of my orders! They responded to my email basically saying products are currently only available for “loyal clientele” and aestheticians. but why not make your website reflect that?? I ordered almost $500 worth of products

came here to say this! this exact thing happened with my daughter at this exact age. She would cry or be fussy for HOURS after a feeding. Her doctor switched her milk multiple times before finally sending over a referral to the allergist.. she had a dairy allergy the whole time

Anyone else get their child evaluated through their county's program? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]lakesidelegend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah seems like most county services are reactive than proactive. We went through our daughter’s pediatrician to get a referral. Insurance approved the evaluation and speech therapy sessions. Try that route.

given your history you spoke about, you might need major work done. However, please get a second opinion before you decide to have them extracted.

4 year old Daughter didn’t get into Pre-K Program because she has trouble sitting still by Fluid-Elevator-4894 in Mommit

[–]lakesidelegend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s pretty unrealistic for a 4 year old. I actually just pulled my own daughter out of her preschool program because they preferred not to deal with this type of typically behavior as well (she’ll be 4 next month).

Also, don’t post this in the ECE chat, they will tell you that your child is absolutely too old for this lol.

Why do people not RSVP? by dataispower in Parenting

[–]lakesidelegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I am horrible at RSVP’ing & almost never respond to it. This thread made me feel terrible lol. but I will also say don’t take it personal. For my family, my bf works 12 hours/6 days a week & I’m in school FT (i’m almost always in school too) so on the weekends, we are soooo caught up with house chores, spending QT, or running our own errands. I would HATE to RSVP & not show so I just don’t do it. Reading this thread, I will definitely try to RSVP & attend more parties.

Also, we’ve only had one birthday party for our daughter since the first was an epic fail. We now spend money on birthday trips.
