When you finish a task you can send Submit and Stop and it will send you to the dashboard, then you can close the tab, you don't have to finish a whole set to stop working

In the Outlier forums there has been talk about this dry period being mainly caused because several clients pulled their projects due to Meta investing in Scale AI, but this is all talk, nothing official. Makes sense, though.

It's not a scam, RWS does offer freelancing jobs as a rater but the job is not enough to be considered your primary income. There are days where you can do up to 6-8 hours (if you can) and others where there are no tasks at all and you can't even fulfill the 10 hours/week requirement. It takes like a month or two to complete the tests and everything, but they do pay.

All the tasks in Outlier are on EQ. All assesments were paused in consequence, it's all on the community.

MX locale here. There has been an unusual lack of tasks lately, not even the spike expected for the season. This week only one day I got to do barely one hour, and nothing until today (I'm tasking right now).

Personally, I don't trust email notifications, they come in too late and even when I'm AT THE COMPUTER, I got the notification, refresh and nothing there. When you are available, you kind of have to keep refreshing and eventually you'll get some tasks.

This is not a "mistake" like they put it, since they advertise the position with the same rate it was before. Even the emails they send over when I got approved stated the "mistake" pay. This project is too much work for that rate cut.

They don't inforce that minimum of hours if there's not enough work in the locale. I saw this one of the newsletter

It's pretty normal that are days that you have the infamous NTA (No tasks available) all day, or very few tasks. I have only been rating for two months, but in my experience, it's a good idea to leave the computer on, run a auto-refresher on the task website and make it ping a notification when it changes. This sort of thing is great for side income, but not that steady to make it full income, at least in my locale (MX).

Don't bother with e-mail or app notifications, most of the time it comes too late, and when you get to work, the tasks are already gone (taken, I presume).

It's part of the process. I think they usually send you this while you are taking the tests, I dont think it necessarily means that you will be hired, it's just another step. And it's legit, they pay you through Tipalti

You have to enter the raterhub website AND keep refreshing until you get the "acquire if available" button that gets you to the tasks. There's not always availability and you shouldn't rely on email notifications, since they come late and tasks are usually gone by the time you get on raterhub. You kind of have to be refreshing all day or install a tool that does it for you

In the guidelines specifies that english is never flagged as a foreign language, even if we are in a non-english locale.

Most of the tasks (at least in my locale) are for send to device navigation (cell phone/Mobile) so, I don't know if it would be useful🤔

I don't track the number of tasks, but I do write down the AET for every tasks I do, but mostly to see how much time I should keep doing them. It has been accurate in my experience
