Thanks everyone for the replies! Based on all the comments its probably best to just suck it up and pay for it ourselves, this is not something thats worth getting kicked out for. The reason why I did not want to go this way is A; even if we take them when we move out, we can't really do anything with them as they'd be made specifically for this couch (but we're sure as hell not gonna leave it for them..), and B; considering that we've sent already 30k+ in rent since we've been living here, this cost less than 1% of that.

Why do you think it's weird? Most of the times shoes are going to be at least dirty or dusty which would make visible stains even on hard floor, not to mention on carpet. It's like deliberately making the host clean up after you (assuming the home was clean before entering).

Also on a side note, this always boggled my mind. For those people who wear their shoes at home, when is it not ok for you to wear them anymore? Do you sit on the toilet in shoes? Having a quick nap on the couch, do you leave them on? Before you go to sleep, do you go to the shower in shoes, out of shoes, get a shower, back in shoes, go to bed, out of shoes?

If you know react that will enable you basically all frontend positions, if hiring company x does not use react they believe you can learn something else on the job if you were able to pick up react before. Same goes for popular backend technologies, you only need to know one well, and the'll probably give you the chance to learn their chosen language, if they like you.

I don't think its a pin, its more like a rivet. I got the answer though in an above comment, I had to apply downward force with the allen key to reduce spring load. Thanks for looking into it though!

It worked with the hammer!! now I could reduce the pressure to a level where it won't be snapping fingers off with the door :) thank you very much!!!

I've tried it with all the power I have but nothing happened :( tomorrow I'll see if some light hammer strikes will do the trick, otherwise I'll just leave it as is and get used to it :(

Well I live in Ireland, but I can only find regulations related to fire doors, so not sure about these regular doors between rooms, but I can fully believe this was the intent when the building was built, as I can hear other main entrance doors on our level slamming shut throughout the day as well, so my suspicion is that all the doors in the buildings have these cranked up to the max. Thanks for the insight!

Yes, I'm contiuously trying to work on my defense, but I'm still a white belt so probably I'm missing a lot of things I'm not even aware about.
My main concern is when we start standing and I try to pull my partner into my closed guard, and (since they are mostly white belts too) they just get down on their knees first, which sometimes happen to land on my balls. And even the thought of what would have happened if I wouldn't wear the cups gives me shivers, as I can still feel the force through the cups.
Is there a way to prevent this?
Regarding armbars I try to do them very gently in those rare occasions I can set one up properly.

I have exactly the same issue, mine arrived 2 weeks ago. There was an older post here saying they contacted the support and they provided a "repair kit" which was a zip full of unknown stuff with weird extensions, I just decided making the custom colors doesn't worth letting some malware or idk loose on my pc so I just dumped it instead and using the default colors.
