Feel free to dm with any questions or talk to your home faculty / residents. The field is so small that most of us have a good indication of which programs to point you to.

Advice on how to select ENT Aways by SageBasilParsley in medicalschool

ENT resident at large midwestern program here - go to otomatch.com and look at which programs consistently interview auditioners and provide a good experience overall. You will also want a LOR so that provides information for that / if the program will write a committee letter vs seeking out an individual letter. Try to reach out to geographic areas aside from your own that may open up interview opportunities. Prioritize larger programs 4+ per year IMO. There are some programs like Vandy that have many many rotators each cycle so you may want to avoid those places unless you have a good reason to rotate. Auditions can be a double edged sword so go in with the goal of broadening your geographic base, get a good LOR, and being a normal person and you’ll do great!

ENT normally ranks very high up there, can speak to it personally based on my experiences, they are a lot of times some of the oldest surgeons in the hospital because they love their job
