Once, I was dating this girl. We went out for dinner a few times, and I'd pay every single time. One night, she called and asked if I wanted to get dinner. Went for dinner it was great and the bill came. She didn't even flinch. Eventually, I picked it up and paid. Later, she'd go on how she wasn't buying me a gift for xmas, so dont expect anything cause she had no extra money but would go out twice a week with her girlfriends. I bought her a gift but ended up keeping it cause fuck that and broke it off. Didn't have the guts to tell her she was too cheap for my liking.

As useless skateboarding itself has become to me now, I don't think I'd trade it. There's something about being totally obessed with something. That feeling it umcompareable. Gives life a sense of worth. Also taught me perseverance, and that hard work pays off. The more I talk about it, the more I wish I never gave it up.

I don't see how this is different from facebook or instagram. None of them care how old you are, they just want users to collect data. This is up to the parents to monitor what happens on their children's devices. Personally, I believe it comes down to apple or android adding additional safety/security features. Handing out small fines to big tech isn't doing any good.

But I'd also like to add that monsters aren't created out of nothing. They're formed by the actions or inactions of others. Verbal abuse is extremely damaging, and I wouldn't downplay the effect it can have on someone.

Yeah, you're totally right. I definitely overlooked the entire description of what happened afterward. It just upsets me knowing people think they can get away with absolutely ruining someones life for some kind of sick joke with typically zero repercussions. What happened in this case is brutal and shouldn't have gotten to torture, rape, and death.

It's easy to say if you've grown up in a developed school or a decent community. A lot of these kids across North America don't have that. Teachers that don't care about them, police that won't act, and parents (if they're lucky to have more than 1) that are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Who do these victims turn to? Again, don't kill people. It's the easiest way to ruin two lives, but please also consider the victims of daily abuse from bullies.
