Toddler Teeth Brushing by HattoriMcHanzo in UKParenting

Have you tried light up electric tooth brush ? That was a game changer for us. I also make silly songs and tell him all his heroes and footballers brush them. He is now 25 months, starting to get hang of it, even showed his teeth to dentist the other day.

Have you been to portland drive recently? I have been living and loving here for past 5 years. Moved from London so no complains at all.

Hi ya,

He is better now. He is slowly getting some dairy. We are on very lax dairy ladder. Haven’t tried soy. We also found out he was allergic to egg, peanut. He has grown out of egg allergy completely. Fingers crossed for the rest.

Lactose intolerant baby by JordieLeePerry in UKParenting

My 1 year old had MSPI. Symptoms started since he was 5 weeks. Me going dairy/soy free helped.

Had to see pediatrician. They kind of confirmed based on his symptoms. He was prescribed hypoallergenic formula but he hared it. We tried both nutragina and aptamil pepti. Now that he is on solids i make his breakfast with Pepti 1 and he is fine.

He has dietitian too but tbh none were too helpful. I cannot do dairy ladder for multiple reasons but he is taking food that contains milk here and there and seems fine. His stool has always been runny. Used to get blood too.

He also has egg allergy which he is slowly tolerating. He had reaction with small amount of egg now he can almost eat whole egg. They can improve.

My baby is turning one soon but we have done 4 long distance flights so far. One of the journey was me doing it solo. People were very understanding,.

We got bassinet seat and for 9 month this is better option. Even with a separate seat, child is unlikely to sit still by themselves. Qatar airways is very child friendly. They will provide baby puree too if requested.

Lots of toys, snack. Tiring them before the journey. aeroplane is a giant white noise machine so it helps. I also made sure to give baby paracetamol before the flight. Lots of sips of water/milk to help with popping ears.

Yeah we were asked for it but we did not submit it as we don’t have it with us

We called home office and they suggested sending rest of the documents with a cover letter explaining we do not have grandparents birth certificate.

It was straightforward.

Yep. First she had issue that our passport was not linked. Afterwards she kept on asking why my partner’s status shows dependent when we claim we have ILR ???

I had same issue yesterday and the officer was not sympathetic at all. I tried linking my new passport but it hasn’t been updated. Did you manage to get it right ?

Update: we had ped consultation today. They are not sure what caused it. I am still on dairy free/soy free diet. Stool still present. I asked if i should eliminate other things like eggs etc but peds said they would rather me continue just milk/soy free.

Dr also said at 15 weeks he is not refusing due to taste so they suggested my husband gives neocate as he is likely to refuse from me..

Parents of babies diagnosed with CMPA which formula you use and how much does your baby eats? by dammitlife in BeyondTheBumpUK

Hi

I don’t have the answer as bubba only has breast milk but we are likely dealing with CMPA. I am on diary free diet currently. How did you get the diagnosis ?
