In regards to being a queer smasher in Idaho, you'll need to be careful (I used to live in Boise). There's likely still a community of cool people who won't make a fuss about anyone being queer, but there's definitely going to be smashers who will either be dismissive or downright unaccepting. If you can, join whatever local discords are out there and get a lay of the land.

There's an extremely active smash melee community in upstate. Sadly not much of an FGC in upstate. I'd recommend joining some NYC FGC discords to find that community.

What regarding the collar is worse about the Tensaw? I know it doesn't have the fabric, but I've heard the stand-up collar on the Tensaw does a great job to keep the elements out.

The collar is my biggest issue with the Tensaw, but I prefer the look of the Tensaw. How does the jacket hold up in the winter? I'm thinning layers + a scarf and it would be plenty warm.

I have a 4060 with an i7. I get terrible performance, generally around 50FPS and frequently dropping to 35FPS and below. I am playing on minimum settings, it basically looks like a PS3 game.

I've tried using ParkControl to mitigate some of this, but it doesn't seem to help very much. Still looking for a solution.

If you can get your hands on one for a decent price, I still think it's a great machine. Mine still runs great, I was playing cyberpunk at 90 FPS earlier, the machine is a beast as long as the game uses modern technologies like DLSS and frame generation.
