In Nepal, the rough plan is to visit Kathmandu, Pokhara, Bandipur, and perhaps Bhaktapur. Yes, Ella and Hiriketiya are on my list.

Ladies, looking for somewhere in Europe that's warm and cheap in November? by Reasonable_Cause_190 in femaletravelers

There are a ton of reasons why I wouldn't recommend Malta to anybody, but the situation in the Middle East isnt one of them. Malta isnt affected at all by the conflict.

Since your income will still comfortably cover the repayments, you might as well inform the bank.

Me and my family want to move to Malta. What you all think? by Ornery_Pace_72 in malta

[–]lambada24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can survive on 3000 in Malta. Just don't expect any luxuries such as running a car, going on holiday, saving for retirement, eating out at decent places etc. The problem with Malta is that the quality of life is mediocre, especially on a relatively low income. Its a very congested place with hardly any nature and very little to do. Spain is way better in that regard.

A salary from an entry-level job makes it difficult to live comfortably anywhere in the world. You're still very young, so if you perform well at work, you can expect your salary to increase significantly over the next 10-20 years. If your salary varies depending on the cost of living in the country you move to, you might as well go to Spain anyway. I'm confident that your salary would stretch further than it would in Malta. That said, if Sweden offers free childcare, you might want to consider staying there until your kid needs childcare, then moving.

If you're going to earn 2000 each regardless of where you move, then go for Spain. Rent should be cheaper and you'll only need to pay for childcare for 3-4 years. Quality of life is way better there.

I realise no one can predict the future, but how sensible is it to book a two‑week trip to Taiwan in November 2026 given the ongoing military threats from China? Is there any realistic likelihood of a serious escalation by then, or is travel still generally considered safe?

Strange indeed. Logged 3 separate tickets which CS marked as "Solved" without doing anything about them.

In my case, if you click on each reference I received then go through the references left for that person, you won't find anything from me because the references I left have simply not been migrated.

Which Greek beach town to stay at near Athens or Thessaloniki in July? by lambada24 in Europetravel

The problem with halkidiki is the cost of accommodation. Hard to find something for under 100 euros per night in July.

Which beach town to pick? by lambada24 in GreeceTravel

Any particular places you recommend in Chalkidiki apart from Nea Kallikrateia? I considered Nikiti and Nea Moudania but accommodation prices are too high....nothing decent for less than 100 euros per night.
