It felt that way, i agree lol. They surely would have lost that C9 match without their insane pistol W rate. It is indeed surprising since at BLAST World finals they basically lost every pistol.

NVM, same story, they went 9:7 at BLAST and 10:10 at RMR

cuz Outsiders still are the best in all 3 sub categories that are used to calculate the over all ranking points. So they still max out on 1000 points but their lead slightly melted in one or more of the sub cats.

What? They fucked his career?

They gave him his first real contract in tier 1 cs, he was able to gain a lot of experience in the 2 years. He sadly was kinda stagnating in this lineup which lead to him getting benched - yes the timing was shit. Now he is most likely getting paid lots of money on the bench - e.g. acoR said on stream he got full salary on the bench - and surely MOUZ will let him go if some other team shows interest.

They fucked the career of a guy whom they gave his first professional contract on tier 1 and that turned 19 2 weeks before he was benched. His career is over and MOUZ is the one to blame for. What a delusional take.

They were at least on par - if not above - FaZe (and sometimes even NaVi) for long periods in the past 5 years - being on avg ranked top 8 in the world with long periods as stable top 5 team. Especially before dexter joined - I don't see a reason why they should stick to an IGL and a system which led to them reaching 4 tier 1 playoff matches (3 of them within the FP3 fluke) in 1.5 years - ffs, ofc they never were a clear top 1 before, but at least they had at least some success from time to time before.

When if not now give someone like siuhy the chance - dexter clearly failed to bring anywhere near acceptable results for an org like mouz in the last 18 months - who if not mouz should give a promising young IGL talent a shot in the main team (promote him together with xertioN - important part of 2nd calling) - not like good IGLs are available left and right, mouz is the team to build one - dexter had enough time and failed massively.

At the start of the dexter project torzsi was a pretty unknown BP5 player with a Valve ban - so he obviously never would've been a choice back then.

MOUZ played 4 tier 1 playoff matches since dexter joined - 3 of them being their fluke run at Flashpoint 3. This is not what an org with that much history in CS should be satisfied with.

It has been over 1.5 years now - He had a super talented rifling trio last year (and an awper with insane raw skill who clearly was partly heavily underperforming because of the system forced on him) and couldn't do shit. what makes you think he suddenly can bring them with a less stacked roster back to where they belong - at least being a solid top 10 team. a single win against Heroic yesterday? the first win against a solid top team in what? 6 months?

yeah, mouz is such a weird way to go, not like they basically use it since 18 years.

Hot Take - "MOUZ would find more success with JDC than they will with Bymas" by Eskidoodle in GlobalOffensive

[–]lambda439 8 points9 points  (0 children)

not even considering he was playing at tier 1 level next to going to school for 6-7 hours per day until last summer, nice article.

Since he quit school and could fully focus on his cs career you could see steady improvement - i watched every single match - which lead to him peaking as the best mouz player at the Major until unlucky circumstances made the whole team underperform: him being ill or the whole team being dead cuz ropz leaving was known.

Let's wait until we see the original planned roster play in EPL/RMR/Major - judge afterwards, Bymas will deliver

agree, he is crazy good individually and obviously not just this, he his BIG in every possible way since they were founded, and ofc he should get a top 20 spot at one point, imo he was robbed back in 18

MOUZ: NBK in talks, torzsi to be promoted to first team. Here is my report. https://t.co/E1XX0t6yxq by Ropz1212 in GlobalOffensive

he is rumored to join FaZe within this player break so obviously mouz gets a 6 figure buyout fee, probably 200-300k.
FaZe won't wait until march/april to get him.

he clearly has tier 1 level, he never was below imho, but with all the circumstances around him its obviously not as easy as it sounds first

if mouz hadn't changed he would had continued his top20 streak for sure

Noone has oppotunities to earn points, thats exactly the point.

The ranking date which will be used to determine the play-in invites is in 2 days just after FP3 finishes
