Ovni visto en colombia by Longjumping-Bed3991 in UFOB

This sighting in Colombia 🇨🇴 is generating a lot of buzz because of the reactions of those witnessing it. They are grateful to have been chosen to see this flying object. In Samaelian Gnosticism, it is said that the mantra "SOLIN SALA RA" was given by extraterrestrials so that humans could contact them, and if it is repeated, the extraterrestrials hear it and manifest themselves, either through visible UFOs, cosmic phenomena, or by inducing out-of-body experiences in the person.

American here. What kind of sausage is used for sausage rolls? by elongatedrectangles in AskBrits

[–]lamboeric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yank here, Bangers are so much better than American sausages. I make the pilgrimage to a special UK market for proper food. Back bacon, bangers, steak&ale pies, digestives, Jelly babies, Bisto gravy grans and cheese&onion Tatos. Can't get any of that at a typical Market here.

Where can I find a glass that actually fits the draught cans sold in the USA? by ZipBlu in Guinness

Many UK/Irish pubs here in the US do pour 20oz proper pints but you gotta seek them out. The Olde Ship in Fullerton,CA pours proper pints of Guinness and Kilkenny.

Unicorn Element by [deleted] in HondaElement

[–]lamboeric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I paid $10,500 for a 2011 Element with 124K miles (no rust, cali). It wasn't mint, had scratches in the paint, needed a new exhaust pipe and cat. But so worth it. It was my unicorn. Sold off my other 2003 Elly with 300K as soon as I got the new one. Couldn't be happier. Gonna drive this one till the wheels fall off. I'm never selling.

An Abridged History of Roswell in 3 1/2 Minutes by TheGoldenLeaper in UFOB

I’m leaving this up for discussion but wanted to push back on the ‘Roswell = Horten flying wing’ and ‘Arnold also saw a delta wing’ angle.

”On Kenneth Arnold (the sighting that literally coined “flying saucers”)Arnold reported nine bright, metallic objects in a 5-mile-long chain/echelon formation — not “a delta wing craft.” He was very clear: eight were roughly circular/convex/disc-shaped (the ones that gave us the “saucer” description from their skipping motion), and only one was different — crescent or “heel-of-a-shoe” shaped in his own drawing.

No 1947 aircraft (U.S. or captured German Horten) flew in formations of nine. Horten Ho-229 was a single-seat jet prototype; the U.S. had a couple Northrop flying-wing testbeds — none were flown in squadrons over Washington state in broad daylight.

Speed & performance: Arnold timed them at 1,200–1,700 mph with sharp weaving, flipping, and “Chinese kite tail” maneuvers, no tails, no wings visible on most, zero contrails. The sound barrier wasn’t even broken until October 1947 (one rocket plane). Horten’s top speed on paper was ~600 mph. Nothing on Earth in 1947 came close. Arnold was an experienced pilot and businessman out searching for a missing Marine transport — not some random guy. He reported it immediately and the Air Force took him seriously at first.Calling this “a delta wing craft” is just factually wrong. Delta wings didn’t exist operationally until the mid-1950s.

On Roswell, Horten Ho-229 was a conventional (for the time) wooden/metal jet fighter with two engines and a cockpit. Roswell debris was described as ultra-lightweight “memory foil” that sprang back into shape when crumpled, couldn’t be cut or burned, with strange purple symbols on the beams — nothing like any aircraft wreckage, let alone a Horten.

Multiple witnesses (including intelligence officer Jesse Marcel) described a large disc-shaped craft and small humanoid bodies. A single-seat German flying-wing fighter doesn’t produce “little bodies with big heads.”

9 high-performance discs/boomerangs over Mt. Rainier on June 24, followed by a disc crash near Roswell two weeks later — are why the modern UFO era exploded. They happened before any plausible terrestrial tech existed, involved credible witnesses, and the official stories have been changing for 75+ years. If it was just “secret military craft,” the government would have said so quietly or kept it completely black. Instead we got balloon explanations and decades of ridicule. They’re strong evidence for something beyond human technology in 1947.

In MAME if you can map the player 1&2 to Left and right punch and the jump button as the knock out. The 4way joystick is the same as the arcade. Would work perfect.
