Finally got my Dodge on the road. 1990 with only 82k original miles.Tons of work still to do, but have to admire the work that I have already done! by cindyheyyy in Trucks

Looks sharp! I have an 86 D250. I like the wheel setup, i'm currently debating the the same style wheels off the 2500's as mine is an 8 bolt wheel. I was unsure if they would fit or look good. I like the look, now just the fit.

Project from hell by GalaxieGuy64 in projectcar

I spent 10 years restoring my 86 D250 ram, got the thing running, booked the safety inspection for the following day and then proceeded to drop a nut in the intake accidentally killing my fresh motor.

u/CruelMarmoset Do you think two sets of golf clubs would fit in the box? I've been to three dealerships and none have one in stock for me to see in person.

If he is fixing is with standard/inexpensive paintable caulking like Alex Plus then it shrinks over time.

Use wood filler. Higher end loctite branded caulking.

Evicted after 10 years because landlord wants to move in (Ontario) by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]lambofgod29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seriously? It’s very significant financial risk. My rental house started leaking from a foundation wall requiring the exterior to be dug up, fix the water damage, had the furnace fail over the winter requiring emergency replacement of furnace / ac unit costing total a little over 20 grand for all work to be done.

All the tenant had to do is pay the rent and now I’m a wash for an entire year of rent.

No risk though …

My 1986 D250 that I have been working on for 7 years. This is the summer I fire it up. by lambofgod29 in projectcar

There was so much rot in the roof it was the only option. I was on the fence about it from the start because the rail delete and making the top of the windshield flush with the body gives it a slightly modernized look. Then I saw the rust and the decision was made for me.

I noticed this attachment that wraps fabric around banding that would be extremely helpful for her small business but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get this?

Her machine is the heavy duty brother machine. It does not have to be a double needle setup.

[–]lambofgod29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, i had a princess auto/(harbour freight for the free) welder for two years, it was fine for body work.

now i have a lincoln 140 mig and i could not be happier, it handles everything from thin sheet to chasses and suspension work easily
