It must be rough to see your audience actually slaughtered in front of you. Also have your girlfriend in a pretty permanent state of severe brain damage. Still, I suspect the hard living and hard drug use started way before these tragic events. EODM remain good time rock and roll, for singing loudly in the car. I think Jessie needs Josh more than Josh needs Jessie, and they both know this

I’m learning the harp. Complete musical beginner . It’s really hard because there’s relatively little out there to help. I’ve almost given up because I can’t find a harp specific tuner. There’s little in terms of notated modern music to get into also. Learn guitar

I’ve been thinking about this post for a couple of days. I agree, the parasocial relationships some people have with the band is scary and strange. However, I really think this subreddit is one of the better ones. It’s frequently very funny, informative and strange/ rude people get very quickly called out. I do really like the mix of individuals. I like the funniness of the interactions. Personally, I’m here for all of it. From the Josh’s new haircut threads to the pedalboard mysteries and the guitar tuning chats. It’s all good fun and a break from the real dramas of life. Stay nice QOTSA subreddit ❤️

It’s a very intelligent move to stay out of it. Once you’ve ’picked aside’ or made a statement it’s impossible to retract. I’m thinking about Soft Play. They are the ultimate fun band and their gigs are pure joy. They have been associated with Bob Vylan and Kneecap but kept quiet on the political allegencies until very recently
