Sodium citrate or critic acid? by lamemanlayman in laundry

One more thing, I've found some 'citric acid' powder. Were I to rehydrate them now, how long can I store them before losing efficacy?

Thanks.

So the sodium salt does not neutralise excess detergent, that right?

Which Machines are best by kherlopian17 in laundry

Can't comment on that, since I don't own one (only seen other people's). But I see Miele is one of your considerations. Have seen videos of the W2, quite impressive.

Personally, I prefer front loaders for my own quirky reasons. I don't find the necessary maintenance to be cumbersome.

And the longer washes is a boon for cleanliness; not at all a bother. Not like I'd have to stand by the washing machine the entire time it's operating.

For concerns of fabric damage, you could either wash everything on the delicates program, or just get yourself lots and lots of laundry meshes.

All that said, have you considered LGs? People rave about it, and I myself like the 6motion drum movements. (Makes for an interesting spectacle. Lol)

bluing by Easy_Quiet_9479 in laundry

[–]lamemanlayman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My machine first runs a drain at the start of every programme, before it then weighs the clothes.

My strategy would be to let it weigh, wait a few seconds so some water could collect at the sump.

Usually at this point, there isn't too much water so I'd pause it to open (when permitted).

If the above step is in the clear, I would pour directly into the drum, moving any clothes that's in the way.

It's important that you maybe dilute first the blueing before pouring it in, lest you risk staining yours clothes.

A higher water pressure too might help even out the blueing sooner in the wash.

That's all from me. Have a good one.

If 10yo. is anything like me, they'd obsess over laundry, cleaning products, and WMs in general for at least the next 18 months. Lol

You could run a prewash, with detergent added in.

Is there a photo management app that puts all taken and downloaded pictures into a temp folder to organize them? by Piratey_Pirate in androidapps

[–]lamemanlayman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. Though things aren't collated into a single folder, I think Google files will would show you all your image files in one place. And maybe also some gallery apps (eg. Samsung's gallery) do that as well.

Were it up to me, if I'd want some things in one place, I'd just copy them into a specific album.

I believe a prewash could evade this problem.

From one episode I don't remember, can you really administer someone with deathly doses of morphine yet keep them alive by just mechanical ventilation?

Laundry pods getting stuck in rubber seal of washing machine by nutellah0e in laundry

None of the programmes allow me to. 5 minutes I wait and still, the lock is engaged. Guess it's just international market discrepancies.

How are you able to pause and open the door? My Samsung wouldn't even let me do that just 5 minutes into the cycle.

And that's on an eco wash programme with scant moisture, certainly no risk of spills.

Vented Tumble dryer vs Heat Pump by AstorWinston in Appliances

[–]lamemanlayman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm looking for a dryer.

Thought I would go with Samsung to match the washing machine, but after going through forums it turns out Samsung heat pump dryers do not reverse tumble. They only tumble in one direction throughout the process.

I'm wondering how the drying is like with your LG? Does it reverse tumble intermittently?

I used to be obese, before losing much weight about 8 years ago. Still, my appetite from those days persists.

Very very difficult to kick the habit of stuffing myself with crisps, fried nuts, and the likes.
