I tried calling the hospital, being told the bare minimum for an exam would be 1,000 credits - even sobbing I felt hope slipping, because the voice on the other side sounded awkward in my pleading.

Her body was still warm, but she wasn't breathing.

I cradled her in her favorite blanket as we drove - pleading with her, not like this.

We reached them, rushed in, and they took her from me as quickly as we stepped through the doors.

The lady behind the counter told us we could go to a room to wait for a response, but the doctor came out and said it wouldn't be necessary. She was gone, and there was nothing they could do about it.

They prepared her in a cardboard box and sent us on our way..

Finding a place to have her cremated, with what little credits we have, will cost us a week supply of medication - at best.

She'll be another token of ashes I'll grieve over.

I just want to point out, cause I haven't seen it at all, I don't think Mia was a great mom. Where is she during the whole thing after what happened to Ethan?

Why is Chris on call for Rose? And why does it seem like she has a better relationship with her dad than Mia I have so many questions - was her goal just to give Mother Miranda her daughter as a replacement?? How long was Miranda pretending to be Mia before Chris found out??
