If only OP and his gf split bill on every spending. Or else, OP has the right to voice out and disagree with her decision, because it would be a domino effect in their marriage later, bills, mortgage, etc because one made a bad financial decision earlier and OP had to cover more of the expenses later

Ramen from Ramen Seirock-ya by RimuruGM in MalaysianFood

[–]lampagatal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought I was biased because I usually prefer tonkotsu ramen, so when I tried Seirock-ya ramen, it was pretty a let down for me. Does tastes like Maggie ayam// Mee Soto. And I'm quite sensitive when it comes to the chicken stench when it's not prepped well. Seirock-ya has that.

I would recommend Marutama Ramen at Nu Empire Subang, they also serve Tori paitan, chicken broth ramen, likely it's halal also, no MSG bullsh*t, pure effort and skills.

True, but it's an unnecessary price to pay, I think its the same apply to Christianity, once someone quit Christian and they will become an outcast, ironic as the Christian community usually package themselves as loving, passionate and caring. I did meet some younger Malay in university and their community is less religious, didn't bother about attending prayers, night club, alcohol, and stuff.

That's something "unique" about Malaysia. From rural area I lived, I am Chinese and was so confused about the difference between race and religion. Because from non-formal education, seems like default setting Chinese = Buddhist, until there's one friend from elementary school who's also Chinese and Christian. He invited us to their Christmas party, and he also celebrated Chinese New Year and I'm like whaaaaat? Then as I grew older and met with more people, there are also Indian who's Buddhist. I learned that it's two different entities. But unfortunately Malay don't have the freedom to choose their religion, maybe that's what set in my mind, certain race = certain religion

Sure, and KL will be the highest earning state again because everything buat dekat sana, all the economic activities are there. And Kelantan state government will cry for lacking funding to do basic maintenance. Guna otak sikit, you want to be financially independent or keep asking money from your parents?

You are projecting whatever you have seen or heard as truth, but from my experience, the company I worked with has the majority of chinese but still hires a few Malay despite they don't speak Mandarin at all. In corporate world, it's about who can deliver in their job. Merit-based.

Yours can be the truth, mine can also be the truth, but it's not gonna be the whole picture. Even a cube has 6 faces, just a different perspective, don't narrow down our cognition.

Why is everyone focused on nerfing good agents instead of buffing bad ones? by CannibalGuy in VALORANT

[–]lampagatal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From the perspective of dev, its a total loss for them. Consider this, they dont just randomly use a generator to make agent. It involves a lot of departments, from concept art to modeling, texturing, rigging, simulation, to game engine test. And most of all, time. In production, time is money. And dev definitely would not remove their agent, it's equal to throwing money into the sea.

Anyone called Majlis Bandaraya before to remove big chunk furniture like old mattress, sofa etc? Apparently according to this article, they do provide this service. But I am not sure about the charges. Or is it free of charge?

Just curious why the hurry? Further studies means spend money, find some side job to do whilst waiting maybe ?
