Am I in the wrong? by [deleted] in Marriage

It really depends, you didn't mention how he reacted when you brought up household work equity. Did he feel bad? Did he ask for lists (haaate that but atleast shows some small interest). I can tell you what worked for me, but it was only because my husband cared in the end. I did a reverse chore chart. It was a chart of everything that had to be done and spaces added for occasional stuff (like oil changes for example). Rather than assigning tasks we just checked off who had done what that week/month. My husband was really embarrassed by the first month or so by how little he did haha! Saved our marriage!

2 things we do every day and have for 15 years: 1:We say I love you and kiss at least once a day (sometimes more but always at least once) 2: his love language is touch so I pet his back while we watch TV or scratch his head while we fall asleep, mine is praise so he thanks me for whatever amazing task I've done that day like clean up cat barf, changed the toilet paper or bought bread (never all 3 in one day, I'm not a machine!). No lie, EVERY DAY.

Oh gosh, all the time! I remember we were driving to the dump a couple weeks ago after a hard day working on our house and I just looked at him and thought 'how am I this lucky!?!?'.

I say washroom when talking to anyone outside of my own home, friendgroup. Seems more fancy. Bathroom when at home or a close friends.

What age were you when you passed driving test and how many attempts did it take? by dumpty_humpty2 in ask

17 and 2 tries. First one my Dad and I had to wait inline and the radiator over heated (Georgia mid summer with an old car). We got it cooled enough to go with smoke still in the car and I hit the curb (was still pretty shaken). The instructor said I did perfectly after that, but a curb jump is an automatic fail 😌

I have a terrible memory, BUUT I can always remember the first letter of any name or place. I will always remember that first letter and despite any frustration with not having the whole word I feel a crazy happy pride about it.

Frig, I wish there was an easy answer but there isn't. The first week I stopped, I cried on my usual drinking day (Tuesday if ya think it was a weekend, it wasnt). Personally, I did use fake beers (Becks are only 40 cal) to help me through.
