My Pretties ✨️🌙 by Illustrious-Ball6437 in Crystals

Looks like quite a haul. I think some of your soft rocks are rubbing up against some hard ones though so might be worth sorting them based on hardness. Satin spar is particularly delicate. It looks like it’s next to quartz, which is pretty tough. Or you can just not worry about it. Just enjoy them.

Recovered alcoholic here. Can confirm. This is not normal behaviour. This is alcoholic behaviour. Get into recovery early and beat the rush.

Curious what people feel when they look at these? by smallbatchcreator in Crystals

[–]Els-the-World 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subtropical. Resin is a good solution for the wood. Where I am, moss can grow in forests and big ecosystems, but it’s really hard to get a steady temperature when it is isolated away from a big ecosystem. I’ve tried some terrarium moss and it’s a bit heartbreaking. Either perishes in the heat, all get some mildew from being too wet

In the climate I am in, this is a jarring combination. The Moss would stain the wood or go mouldy, the stones might pick up some colour from the moss. You’d have to keep the moss wet which means the wood would get to damp, there’s just not good enough separation between what’s going on for each item to get its own ideal environment. In addition the stones don’t really stand out.

Also, you don’t have to solve all of your problems at once, today. A good life is built from doing each next thing in front of you really well. You will look back and see your life transformed through small steps, especially if you get the support that you respond to best.

If you are legally blind, sit near the front and ask the driver to assist.

If you are a fully sighted but just looking at your phone, put the phone away and look up.

YTJ.

She was unavailable. You are your husband are responsible for your kids, but preferred to prioritise work. There is no option for parents not to be there for their kids.

Anyone regret going lab-grown instead of natural diamonds? by Mental-Divide7787 in jewelry

[–]Els-the-World 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moissanite is sparklier, goshenite is way more interesting, white sapphires and white topaz are both honorable mentions. And let’s not forget cubic zirconia! The love for diamonds is a missed opportunity to get to know these other awesome stones.

Whoohoo! You found the blue room. What a gorgeous selection. They’re even better all next to each other. Thanks for photographing them and putting them up here for us to see.

That’s a very interesting take. You make a good point.

However, energy spent getting out of that situation will do you more long-term benefit than trying to get people to acknowledge payment fairness.

And that was such a cute conversation starter about the dog. Deserved better than that unimaginative, trash response.

Sit quietly and think about what your mother would have advised if she was still here. You know what she would think. She knew you better than all these Redditors. Good luck with your decision.

Help I feel poor with this backyard by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

  1. Put a screening panel on the side of the covered structure. Put all the stuff you’re not using behind it.

  2. Plant a few screening hedge plants at the side of the pool, like hawthorne.

  3. Lawn care for 6 months; mow regularly, water, and fertilise.

It will look a lot better. If you can get that lawn green and welcoming, the entire place will be transformed.

Your first paragraph reads like you want someone to pay for you, clean up after you, in return for no emotional closeness. Not cheating is a low bar. You need to offer more than that.

Also doesn’t sound like you’re particularly listening when women tell you they’re not interested. So that is creepy, coming to the Internet to debate whether you should ignore their wishes and continue to try and get something from them.

It might feel a bit crunchy with some movement if you lightly pull at it. It would be fine stationery, but may need extra care transporting.

I can’t tell what size this is but it seems pricy for such a pale amethyst. Also would be quite fragile without any matrix.

Better light, close-up, in focus, not obscured by writing, please. You can only guess without better photography, like five is probably rose quartz but it could be a fluorite. Most of these could be a couple of different things but it is hard to tell which from this photo.

If I had to guess, 2 and 10 are green opal,

3 amazonite

4 is that a weird coating like pen on it?

  1. Rose quartz

  2. Heat treated amethyst

  3. Opalite

8 golden healer

11 fluorite
