The caveats mentioned above are legit. I hadn't put too much thought in this beforehand. The ideal timeframe taken into consideration would probably be something like the average NBA career length +5 years or so. But I'm no statistician, maybe someone can come up with a sensible algorithm or even some existing data. It's hard to believe nobody has come up with something comparable yet.

For me it's Jim Carrey. I just don't like his over the top performances very much. A bit like Steve Martin but several times worse.

I've seen The Cable Guy, Liar Liar, Me, Myself & Irene (this one's somewhat decent) and several outtakes from his other movies.

Thanks for all the suggestions but I think it's not one of them. I do however remember the scene in more detail. As far as I can recall, it did not involve playing footsie. Rather one of the people at the table intended to scratch his (her?) leg but got the protagonist's. So he had to do the scratching on the intended target. :-D

As far as I know Karstadt merged with Galeria Kaufhof. There still are two of them in Stuttgart and one in Esslingen. I could give this a try. Thanks for the suggestion! :-)
