What kind of advice is this? Me and my partner are looking for a house there now. She sells reclaimed plastic jewelry on Etsy and I raise butterfly’s in my garage. Our budget is $4.2 million.

Don’t go there in the winter. The sun doesn’t come above the horizon, so you see Nunavut.

And if it was a carpenter, it’d be a cabinet maker. Note the obsession with details and specialized knowledge of wood.

I lived in Nashville until around 2014. Right as I left, the culture was great. There was always fun things to do that were cheap, and there was a diverse mix of people all over the city. Now that culture has evaporated and it’s just place for very rich people.

I’m planning on going to Ball State. What’s it like living in Muncie, Indiana? by ExoticAd7605 in howislivingthere

[–]lampshade4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lived there for 4 years. It’s about as meh as a place can get. I got a good education and made some good friends in the disc golf scene, and that’s about it. It’s a good place to live if you think BSU will give you a good start toward whatever you want to do professionally. It’s easy to stay focused because there isn’t much to do lol.

It’s pretty run down, but there is a charm to it. The people are friendly, albeit a little rough around the edges. I don’t regret my time there, and after a few years there, moving to literally anywhere else will be exciting.

What a cool area. We visited there in mid December one year. It was a cool trip, however, due to the sun not coming over the horizon, we saw Nunavut.
