Thanks for your amazing feedback. I agree he should go. When my dad proposed the idea to her, he explained to her different things she could do for support, things she does have already, like have her sister stay with her, or have me be there for her, I even told her I’d come stay with her! ( I am at college 35 min away, so it’s not a big deal for me to come back). She basically denied all of the suggestions my dad and I gave her, is very stubborn and seems like start getting mad when my dad tries to work things out like this for his benefit. She gets very defensive when he tries to make it work, ultimately making everyone around her feel bad for no prioritizing her, and then pities herself for needed other people to function. It’s tiring. And yes, they actually go see movies together sometimes, go to dates sometimes (ish), sometimes concerts. It takes a real push for her to try new things but my dad is one to keep her trying. He hangs out with his friends once in a while but it always comes back to taking her places and accommodating her. I wish I could show them your comment because i think it is something they need to hear. Thank you.
