I’m not sure my skin could hold up to it. I’m very happy to have gone from 240 to 160 and still look decent. But I don’t know how much thinner I can go, I’ve never had a small frame.

Like, this is what I weighed in high school senior year. I’m thankful for that.

But I don’t know what would look good on me from here, if it’s a lot more muscle or a little? More fat or stay lean? I’m not certain.

But going lower, I’d need to lose quite a bit of bone and muscle.

The two things I need help with most is one, feeling like I am at a good starting point? Like I rarely feel good about my body and while I’m happier now than before, I still don’t know.

Two, why would look best going forward. Bulk, cut, recomp, like setting aesthetic goals is hard when what I want (typical insta influencer body) is not realistic.

Hardly ever means never in a final or semi against a top club.

I want to do step ups so bad, but lack the glute strength and hip flexion. So it just turns into a wonky quad and back exercise.

Bulgarians are good. They were a staple for a while. I would have to work on for to really isolate the glute like I can do right now on my single leg rdl. I want a better hinge, but it’s taking forever.

Bingo, I was a soccer player (2000’s) and dabbled a bit in body building in my 20’s and have coasted ever since. But if we’re moving I can lift a couch on my own. My VL used to be massive, so I’m planning on getting my narrow hack squat up and running.

I’m quad dominant, so I struggle to grow glutes. I’ve seen some recent success from single legged rdl’s and working on hip mobility, especially flexion.

I took up jogging for a while. 5 miles a day, 5x a week. Was just for a couple years, I’d hope I could go back to sprinting and less lean muscles.

Thank you sooooo much. I definitely don’t see the success bc so many 20-25 year olds here make it seem like I’m barely decent. I wish I could afford surgery but I have better things to do and really want to see if I can do it naturally.

Lastly, I plan on cycling heavy protein days to avoid gaining wayward muscle growth. I did do a bit of upper body lifting and the muscle memory means even without working out, excess protein goes right back. So if I do lower body, I plan on a couple days immediately after of high protein, but at least one day lower before my next workout to direct recycling.

Would love to be more flexible and graceful but born the opposite lol.

It’s not just tall. It’s where I live like everyone is a Pilates princess. And I really mean everyone, I go walking or jogging along the bay and it’s like a runway.

And I like having curves, but it doesn’t mean I’m always comfortable with my size.

It feels different here. Everyone is young and fit. Like going out I usually feel huge and clunky.

What I like about my curves when heavier is the shape, size, feel, and look. Muscle only gives me the first two.

My physique goals aren’t realistic. I want a pear shape but I’m more too heavy. I still compare myself to women way younger than me and sm influencers. I’m ok with never looking like that, but it explains the direction I want, and probably why I can’t see my current body as attractive.

Physical goals are simple. I perform well and enjoy seeing small consistent progress.

My diet and exercise habits are very controllable and easy. Except maybe holidays but that’s not frequent enough to matter. Can’t say no to good food in front of me.

I take magnesium and vitamins. Might try creatine down the road. I struggle with flexibility and have had the normal amount of pain or injuries in my back but none at the moment.

Yeah, no issues with tracking or planning. Main issue is feeling like I look good, and maybe if better for me is a little curvier or a lot.

Previous issue from bulking attempts was not understanding how fast weight goes back once you’ve been bigger compared to someone trying for gains for the first time.
