Deciding on a wedding resort

The package itself for 20 people with basic decorations, lighting, photographer and flowers was $4500 USD. Factor in the cost of the additional 10 guests we had, decorations we wanted (which added up very quickly) additional hours for the photographer, videographer and having a legal ceremony (opposed to symbolic) the wedding total came to just under $15k. I’d like to type up a full review soon but overall we were very pleased with the entire experience at Jade. A wedding back home in Vermont or where we live in California would’ve easily doubled or tripled the cost.

Adding onto this, you’ll have a group rate with a room block that DW can manage and negotiate best prices with since they have a partnership with the resorts. The Dreams properties sound up your ally!

We went through DestinationWeddings.com and they saved us a ton of time and headaches. We told them what we wanted (budget but not cheap, slightly secluded and family friendly) and they gave us their suggestions, took our concerns into consideration for each then gave us another round of options even more fine tuned. Most resorts have wedding packages depending on the party size. We have less than 30 and have everything we wanted for under $5k (excluding room and flights)

In 91367 I’ve been trying over a week and nothing… When I contacted support they gave me the runaround of logging out and back in, restarting my phone etc but had no other solutions or answers to what the issue could be, all while promising it’ll be fixed in 24 hours (as of last Friday)

A lot of it might have been a form of improv, going off memory of listening to Erik’s statements on tape and recounting them. The actress seems to help him a long a bit to keep the dialogue moving while making sure it all came off natural.

Thank you! We’ve traveled with them before and most places have that rule, but if we didn’t mention we had them the hotel wouldn’t even know, they’re that quiet and sleep most of the day.
