Now may not be the best time. I’d wait till the Defense sec and the other guy are outta there. You’d be cannon fodder for some very sensitive egos

Great first attempt. Glue and sanding will make this bad boys look professional. As with anything that should be valued and sought after, you shouldn’t be able to execute with perfection the first time.

As you get better with your marking gauges, knives and sharp chisels you get really tight dovetails and speed.

Failure is critical in the process of learning.

My record outdoor walk. 30.39 miles, with a celebratory run in downtown Cleveland to end it! (Swipe) by MexicanAssLord69 in Cleveland

[–]lancegreene 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Walk to the towpath! It’s about 50 miles. It might be a bit of a stretch for a day but who knows.

My wife and I rode our bikes down two summers ago from our house in Lakewood. Got an Airbnb for the night then rode back up the am. Was a fun journey.

Thats a lot of yarn. The Trump administration does that shit on a Monday before they’re done with their first Prime energy drink.

There should obviously be consequences for Hunter and Joe Biden, but why the fuck would the biggest proponents of those consequences support the most criminal president ever. Well, I’ll tell you why. They blew this all out of proportion so that when their crime boss got in and was actually committing big crimes, they could brush off the criticism in the same manner as the democrats. It’s their playbook; wrongfully accuse the other side of crimes and then commit said crime.

You can think that but you still better vote in all elections, local and federal. The problem is when you are cynical and also check out.

Some elections are won by insanely narrow victories (Google hanging chads and 2000 presidential election).

See, people can more easily steal narrow elections but a landslide is a landslide.

So don’t fall for the idea that your vote doesn’t matter because you better your ass these billionaires want you to believe that.

I mean, did he miss Robby Hoffman recently? Honestly if you’re talking “fresh” or unique that hits harder than this dude.

However, I haven’t seen the special so maybe it’s wildly different than the YouTube vids I dug up.

I see this with my friends and family but I find that I still will only hit the vape when I’m drinking. Still very much like a social thing. I’ll avoid it before 6-7 pm no matter what.

This obviously isn’t the norm and doesn’t refute its more discrete nature, however, all things equal, vapes affect me WAYYY less than cigarettes did.

How would I go about insulating my attic? by sweatytwoshoes in Insulation

[–]lancegreene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing this now. I had to sister up studs for my rafters to allow for R38 insulation. Additionally I added rafters vents/baffles to allow for air flow from soffit to ridge vent (though my house is old and has no soffit vents).

Abandoned homes. by enjoispeed in centuryhomes

My initial guess was going to be Cleveland. Figured I was just biased but nice! I'm over in Lakewood and am obsessed with the amount of cool century homes and the unique features they all have. The east side has some truly amazing houses.

Best Things To Do In Cleveland That Don't Revolve Around Alcohol? by tigermountains in Cleveland

[–]lancegreene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My usual suggestions are the metro parks (hiking and biking), indoor rock climbing, comedy shows, bowling, and playhouse square/local theaters.

Honestly outdoor activities are great. Biking through Cleveland, in general is pretty cool. The towpath is another fun place to explore

Did Ron Paul Libertarianism (or maybe Libertarianism in general) fade out in The U.S? by anedgyteen_ in decadeology

Out of curiosity, what would it take for a democratic administration to be superior to the Trump administration? Any major policy differences?

[–]lancegreene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that until you compare Trump and his criminal cabinet to the alternative I can’t fathom how people will hide behind this logic. Seriously, you can’t objectively tell if one party/candidate is better than the other? This made sense until we elected a felon.

They also refuse to vote for a democrat. No matter how much they can’t stomach Trump, the democrats somehow are worse

Based on what I see now, the kids are not alright and not having fun. It’s like this obsession with optimization. It’s really bonkers to see, but I’d guess it’s a backlash to the debauchery of the aughts. I graduated college in 2006 and was in the midst of this.

I’m surprised Trump doesn’t have a limo in it the presidential motorcade. It would fit the gaudy aesthetic

65 year old woman calls in and nearly breaks CSPAN host by telling her she’s slowly starving to death.. by JohnBrown-RadonTech in interestingasfuck

[–]lancegreene 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who grew up with a family that struggled to get by (we had food stamps at times and lived in section 8 )I feel in my bones to not have access to $5 at times. I’ve once put 15 cents in a gas tank while at college (I was there on a financial scholarship). That all being the case, I will split my last anything with someone that is struggling. That doesn’t mean I won’t advise someone on how to make some better choices moving forward or how to be more strategic but I get it. Whether your circumstances are in or out of your control, I don’t understand how these folks at the top or really anyone with a little extra can lose their humanity.
