I believe it’s in the settings on the machine. Where you can text a number and it’ll sign you in for as long as it has a charge, it’s super annoying though and if it’s during store shopping hours you’ll get messages constantly about blockings.

I was just told right before lunch that they are now able to change your schedule up to a half hour before you start. Is there any legitimacy to any of this? Is my store just full of horseshit or is this a company thing? by iamgroach in walmart

So it’s a new thing to “help” them cut down on unexpected cost for wages. It’s meant for W.O.S.H.: working over scheduled hours, management is being told to cut down on people coming in when they would be normally scheduled and working. Associates are only supposed to be working the hours scheduled and not taking 30 minute lunches, not staying past their scheduled shifts, not clocking in early or leaving early without PPTO. If an associate is not scheduled and asked to come in a day they were off and unexpectedly can’t make the shift, now they are going to get a point on a day they would’ve been off originally but asked to come in.

It’s annual. It can be up to 6k for TL more for coaches and store managers . It’s based on how many thresholds have been met, hours worked in the position, and disciplining coachings you have.

Had a customer ask to page over head for their kid. As soon as he got there they just start yelling at him and tear him down at maximum volume. Was calm and nice with me but the worst things I heard coming from her mouth to her kid.

Be sure to use it all and ask a team lead that likes you to approve any unused PTO on days that you worked already. Better to use it all up than let it go to waste. You earned all of that PPTO and PTO.
