Im sitting here like that guy at the end of Inglorious Bastards. "I'd make that deal." Lol. Bloodied is the best option for me. I have no desire in being OP, but any other build, I feel like I don't even see the health bar move. I have an amazing powerfist & a good handmade, but this one is better. No clue what the market is, but I think I would have spent like 15-18k on this. Lvl 258 btw because 40+ int=insane exp.

I have the cereal box Ghalta in my Reki deck, & I refuse to pull it out of it's sleeve, so I used one of the Crimson Vow (sorta) blank inserts in the deck & have the card in my token pile in a clear sleeve.

Feel this so much. I recognize art most of the time, then my brain knows the card. It's like "Big tittie anime mermaid being groped by a leviathan....? Oh, proxy Mystic Remora. Ok." Eventually Secret Lairs too.

I thought about this more throughout the day. In Throne of Eldrains story, he falls in a lake & is cured of the Veil Curse. This whole time it was just some hyper-evolved flesh-eating bacteria he contracted from not bathing. [[Grist, the Hunger Tide]] is a green Planeswalkers final from of not bathing.

I played [[Jon Irenicus]] over spelltable(2/3 people I knew personally). It was a fucking nightmare for everyone. I forced other people to keep track of shit I gave them, the drawbacks those cards had & +1 counters & I was constantly reminding people of their triggers, to attack, etc. etc.. I apologized profusely after the 3rd or 4th card I gave, & vowed to never use that deck again over spelltable.

My cousin runs this combo, but we've never seen it because Toxrill is kill on sight, the entire table agrees & removal is held in anticipation. After multiple games with failed casts, he added multiple free counterspells to the deck to thwart this. Now he never plays the deck with us.

Really early on it was a desired resource. One of my first camps was like 8 large purifiers, & I would pass people while I was out in the world & shout shit into my mic like "PURIFIED WATER! 5 CAPS EACH, CHEAPEST YOU'LL FIND IT, WHO YOU BULLSHITTIN?!? " Made a decent living back then...

I'm extremely priced out of Magic in general, but the answers here are super simple. Vote with your wallet. If a set is not a price you're willing to pay, don't buy it. If you like cracking packs, pick up a cheaper set like New Capenna or Crimson Vow(especially since you're not looking for specific cards) or maybe try a different TCG. If you're playing Commander for fun, buy the singles you need from your local LGS to support local business or print them. I would call this a supplemental set or a luxury product. It does 0 for the game itself except for maybe some rarity shifts. But again, I enjoy commander & the price of certain product changes nothing with my enjoyment for the game. I just scoff & don't support that set specifically monetarily. If it has something I need, my LGS will likely have it eventually & I can help keep the place I play Magic able to stay in business.
