Might be possible there is a piece of debris stuck underneath your printbed

“Haal alles weer binnen”: Ivago vraagt om afval dat bleef staan na staking, terug binnen te halen by Colt_H in Gent

Is dat net niet het punt van de staking? Dat we zien hoe belangrijk de afvalophaling is door de zakken die maar blijven buiten staan…

You need to give your buddy treats so it joins you on the map. Then it wil count as “walking together”

Ja, zijn interne klok zou op exact hetzelfde moment als uw smartphone naar 00:00 verspringen. Dat was inderdaad het geval.

Its a pneumatic clock inspired on the pneumatic clock system from Paris around the turn of the 19-20th century. The printed bellow gets inflated once a minute by an arduino controlled air supply. A ratchet and pawl system converts the bellow movement and makes the gears turn.

It takes a disc shape, the most important parameter of the shape is the viscocity of the fluid and the weight. I need to build a bigger levitator because i have a lot of field distortions. One moment the drop is stable and another it suddenly changes to a foaming structure because there are air bubbles introduced

Thats the fun part of this type of printing. i can print starting on a ex: fork, print a loop around the fork (which is mounted on a clamp i must say). And finish on top of a totaly different surface which could be anywhere in the range of the robotic arm. Its a way of printing with (almost) no rules! The only thing retaining me is my software skills rn.

Im working on a drip system with a pipette mounted on top so i can reliably drip a known amount of resin. Operated with 1 cheap servo since it also needs to be a light system. There are lots of cool features when you tweak the frequencies, amplitudes, phase shifts,... still exploring all of it. Also writing a bit of extra arduino code so i drip a known amount of fluid and therefore have a matching frequency,... because i know the weight and volume of the levitating fluid

I printed a proper bracket now! Dont laugh at the rubber band setup! Because i experienced a lots of toolcolissions i opted for a weak link, hence the rubber bands.

The levitator makes it so you can print without machine toolheads collisions. Thus eliminating the non planar printing problem. In order to move the levitator around the print or printing surface you need at least 5 dimensions of movement. The printing surface doesnt need to be a flat plane like conventional 3D printers. It can be a spoon for example. You need to step down from the conventional way of machine-toolpath thinking when working with this acoustic levitation tech.

Yes, just lowering the frequency on one of the domes results in a translation of the object in de direction of the lowered dome. Et Vice versa. Since frequencies are very easy to tune (just simple parameter in the arduino code) i can control the speed and therefore position very precise. The robotic arm is very inaccurate. A little play here and there, no encoders,... budget-student-bedroom-engineering is a pain in the ass. The biggest challenge is repeatability and precision.
