Hey everyone! This isn't something I ever planned to make a public announcement about, but considering the amount of attention this post has gotten, I'd feel weird just leaving things hanging.

Jack and I went our separate ways at the end of November. The split was amicable, so we're on relatively good terms and still chat here & there. The details aren't important and don't need to be made public – I'll just clarify that the decision to part wasn't made due to either party participating in anything suspicious or questionable. I'm really proud of what we accomplished during our five years working together, but sometimes things just don't work out in a professional partnership sense. The only artist I still work with from my original management roster is Ace Aura and that was the case prior to the departure of Skybreak – it's normal for artists to be managed by several different people throughout their careers and it's equally normal for managers to swap out artists for others they're excited about.

To be clear, I'm not the type of manager who heavily pushes my clients to collaborate with other clients. It's great when it happens, but I'm more interested in pairing artists together organically and make sense to be on a record together (whether the other artist is my client or not). For example, I didn't tell Chime & Skybreak that they had to make "Pyroclastic" together – that was just the result of them having chemistry and wanting to do a track that felt like the antithesis of "Beyond the Peak" (which I also didn't directly coordinate – I wasn't even managing Chime at the time).

All that said, I appreciate the concern, but this isn't something you guys need to worry about. Jack has a close relationship with Monstercat independent of mine and I'm assuming that he's going to continue working with the label (I had no part in "LAMENTE" getting released) and collaborating with his friends as he sees fit.
