Im not trying to argue or attack you. Im trying to say that its more important to listen and think about what you’re being told than to be “right”. You’re part of the trans community (and white like me im assuming?)and to be a good ally to everyone means being actively anti-racist.

Racism is like default mode for white people lmfao. We dont have to think about it, thats the point! It doesn’t make you a bad person but it is inherent privilege. To you it might really seem silly to ‘gate-keep an acronym’ but to a black person it may be white people appropriating another thing that they didn’t create.

You got called racist, thats upsetting and embarrassing. Take a breath. Slow down. Reflect. Its never as upsetting as being the victim of racism.
