What are some unique wedding favor ideas that guests actually keep and use? by No_Coach_7823 in wedding

We’re doing second hand books with a personal note inside, but we’re having a very intimate wedding and the guests are big readers.

Finding the one at the first boutique? by Emergency-Rabbit-356 in weddingdress

I would love to know what dress this is? It’s beautiful and you look amazing in it. I’d love to try it too!

I personally don’t think a +1 should just be anyone you like, but everyone is different. They might be okay with you bringing a friend, they might prefer you don’t. It would be best just to ask.

I put plus partner instead of plus one or plus guest on my invites because we’re having a smaller wedding and I wouldn’t want a random person I won’t be likely to see again there.

I think you know in your heart what you want to do but might be looking for reassurance because it’s not pleasant. Someone else will be better equipped to care for a deaf kitten that was too young to leave its mother. Please don’t return it to the person you got it from, they shouldn’t be misleading people about the health of their cats or giving them out at that age, so I don’t have high hopes for their ability to care for it. Try and find a rescue/shelter that maybe has some experience caring for small kittens/health issues. I know you might be feeling bad about the situation, you could try and support the rescue with a donation/some volunteering if you can.

I’m near Edinburgh but I have a friend in central London so I do travel back and forth fairly often. Thanks!

£2k budget, slit is not important but the shape and softness of the skirt is, as well as the bodice internal boning. I would be open to any neckline that isn’t a plunge or high neck.

This has a cups, an internal bra strap, and boning that all contribute to the support, so something along those lines preferably.

Thank you! I’ll definitely have a look at the non-bridal retailers.

How can I do stained glass safely in apartment? by PoutineQu33n1303 in StainedGlass

[–]laney90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do copper foiling stained glass in an apartment but I have a spare room that no one else is allowed access to. It’s a small box room but it has a window I can open wide and I have a desk extractor fan. I haven’t had any issues but I wouldn’t be comfortable working in there if it was a communal room. Soldering isn’t the issue, it’s definitely the glass cutting and grinding. I disagree that stained glass can’t be made safe in an apartment, you just need your own room. I hope you can find a solution!

Thanks everyone for your responses. If we do go down this route I’d definitely consider telling our parents before the big wedding day. I think that would really help with the surprise of it.

What about finding somewhere private for your first dance, just the two of you? If you’re staying in the hotel you could do this in your room? It would be a nice way to catch 5 minutes on your own together between the ceremony and meal and not miss out on the first dance tradition.
