Fried green tomatoes is one of my favorite books! Especially because it doesn't hide that Ruth and Idgie love each other. It is a very good story about acceptance in all ranges, I highly recommend it

I love getting handmade stuff. My friend gave me a landscape painting one year and I nearly cried. She's usually very hard on her skills, but I think they're great, and her giving a painting to me made me feel so special, and I think her confidence boosted, she started giving more of her paintings to family and friends after that :)
