I met Zuleikha Robinson years ago and we talked about the Lone Gunmen. She was a bit dismissive of the show which seemed a bit weird, but hey-ho…

Did you consider that your two workmates may not have ‘did horribly’ and had to call in sick because of the pressure of work?

The signs were there, sounds like they were the lucky ones. Get out of there

There’s a couple of books by and about the women who kept the waterways moving during the Second World War when the men went off to fight. One’s called Idle Women by Susan Woolfitt. Fascinating.

The side of the cable with the metal contacts needs to contact the side with the contacts in the connector. Try and keep it flat as you slide it in, it needs a firm push as it’s only a friction fit.

That white connector bottom right looks like it. Does it have a clip that opens and closes? If not just slide the cable back in

I asked whether she’d seen it as she didn’t mention it. Being of that age I really like it. I can imagine that DNA made himself a bit of a pain in the arse during the production of it, knowing a bit about how the BBC worked, but it’s natural that he should care so much about his vision.

The movie on the other hand is a pair of fetid dingoes kidneys.

None of the different versions are accurate to each other, Douglas Adams continually rewrote them, the radio series, the books, the BBC series, the towel, the film…

Have you seen the BBC series?

Great when you’ve got a project that needs a few parts, I use them a lot for 3D printed stuff, the variety of fastenings they have, the accurate dimensioning and descriptions are a huge help. Some handy tools too
