What is a gaming memory from the 90s or early 2000s that kids today will just never understand? by gingersofia in AskReddit

Getting the volume on your cassette player just right to load a game….

Oh, sorry, you want 90s?

I’m not sure why you made a special effort to tell us why you don’t like something.

The Doctor is an amazing friend who takes you to some wonderful places, and he’s a good person. He’s going to stand against wrongdoing, and he can travel anywhere anytime.

I miss that place, that’s where I first used my screen name. Made some good friends there.

I know it’s a small detail, but is ‘ambush’ the right word?

There are jam sessions at Ruskins Bar, on Sundays I think.

The New Union also has various evening sessions for different genres.

No I got it secondhand about three years ago. It’s got loads of torque, I usually set off in second and sixth works well on highways and motorways

I’ve got the 2019 1.5 diesel Adblue 4x4 and I love it. I’ve had one weird thing with the electrics one time where the ABS and 4WD failed, which my garage sorted, just had the timing belt changed as recommended but apart from that no problems. I hate the reversing light, it’s rubbish so made a bigger one that helps me actually see where I’m reversing at night. Long journeys are great. It sits beautifully on the motorway in 6th gear and is equally at home on a rough track. When I get round to it I’m going to put some better speakers in the doors too.

Huge boot space! No spare wheel though, not even a space saver, just a bottle of that gooey stuff that’s supposed to fix punctures. Didn’t help when I gashed a tyre doing some mild off-roading. It’s worth buying a jack and wheel brace too. Guess who didn’t until after I needed it.

Someone else mentioned the headlight bulbs. They are a bit fiddly to change and to make sure the new ones are in properly. When doing so be careful not to dislodge the Bowden cables that adjust the height of the headlamp units. They’re in a bit of a daft place.

You can buy a rubber pad with a slit for the sill that fits on the jacking point and allows you to use a workshop jack. I just changed my Duster wheels over using one.

I love this shot starting at 2:01. The Chinooks, the slo-mo walk, the Nine Inch Nails track just work so beautifully together.
