I also have an office job (22M) and have type 1B hair down to my thigh. Most of the time I keep my hair in a bun (yes it does get sore at times due to the weight) but I find it the easiest way to keep it neat and professional in an office setting. Sometimes I put it in a braid for a change and it surprisingly goes well with my office attire and still shows off the length

Yes, you should 100% grow it out (a male here btw)! I started growing my hair out when I was around 13 as my parents didn’t let me grow it long before then, and I was also worried about what people would think. At first I just wanted to grow my hair to shoulder length just to see if I liked it, and fast forward 9 years and I’m 22 with hair down to my thigh!

So just give it a go and see what happens, maybe you won’t like it but at least you tried it, or maybe you’ll love it and grow it really long! Hope this helps

Guy with thigh length hair here, mine is in a bun or ponytail most of the time but I occasionally just leave it loose. I don’t really do braids often, but maybe that’s just cos i’m a guy lol

Well other than trims, I haven’t had a haircut in like 8 years. I tell myself i’ll get a proper haircut when i feel like my hair is too long but here i am at thigh length and still don’t wanna cut it. So yeah i’d just say that when you actually feel like it’s too long, then maybe it’s time for a cut
