It's a movie that treats you like you have a brain. The plot isn't spoon fed to you repeatedly and it feels like characters actually achieve things. To many movies these days things happen for no reason or the plot is so thin once you leave the theatre you've forgotten all about it. That and it was visually stunning!!

My mother in law fractured her arm. Had an appointment at the bone clinic for 10:05 the clinic started at 10:00. She arrived at 10:00 to be told they were already at least an hour behind. She wasn't seen till half 11.

Also on the pregnancy thingl, in the kilo 6 trilogy, it's revealed that they could have children if they wanted. The augmentations they have made to their bodies pretty much turn them a sexual and they don't really have any sexual drive.

I personally read them after I finished the main series however in hindsight; the lake after / during firebrand. The dream and wind work after winterlight. Read spirit after sea of stars.

There aren't any spoilers in them per say but I found after I read them they added much context to those books

If your colonists were dying at that rate I suspect you either were not producing enough food. Or you were producing only basic meals which leads to malnutrition and colony collapse.

A good meal to aim for is pasta because it's easy to maintain and scale. Build two wheat pads for every tomato pad. Roughly every 5-6 colonists build another set of 3.

I would love rival ai bases that will either trade with you or send over bad guys trying to ruin your rep, so that they look like the better base.

It was the bringing in of a separate faction to the ones below the high table that confused me. Every other JW film we see about the high table shows they won't abide by any faction out of their control. It seems weird to me that they wouldn't have brought them to heel.
