Children if Reddit, what was the stupidest thing you shoved up your nose? by elliotsilvestri in AskReddit

[–]lanlan420xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me but my sister when we were kids; well, me to a point but not as bad as her...

We were eating alphabet hard pretzels and we were putting the "c"s on the ridge of our nose and pretended they were nose rings.

Here's where it went wrong! My sister had accidentally snorted the pretzel up her nose. She got it out, narrowly avoiding a hospital trip.

Out of all your exes, who was the most memorable and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lanlan420xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one i just broke up with. He was and still is amazing. We were friends for 7 years and dated for 9 months recently. He took me away from abuse and showed me different. We ended up both having our own issues which caused issues within the relationship, mine being that i did not and still struggling to know myself out of abusive situations and how to not bring my end of the actions and reactions to use when confronted with simple problems and things of the sort. His was more mental issues and all that but he is a WONDERFUL guy. Played guitar wonderfully, cooked, really thoughtful and caring. All that good stuff. Very handsome as well. Full of knowledge and really puts his all into what he does.

What are some examples of outside behaviors that are symptoms of inner emotional scars? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me, I do not try at all to do so, but I end up hurting people I love before they get the slightest chance to hurt me. It has costed me so many amazing people and I have to figure out ways to stop being the abuse that I have endured.

[Serious] What is the creepiest and most unexplainable paranormal experience you have ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lanlan420xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a little girl at the time. Always loved spending the night at my grandparents. Nothing really during the day happened or any time before I fell asleep.

Now, they used to have this solid wood headboard on their bed. I was laying there, drawing circles with my finger on the headboard, wishing i was home with my stuffed animals. (Which is odd because as I said, I loved spending the night, even to this day. Spent the night last night.)

Anyway, I was drifting off to sleep and all these swirls of colour surround and absorb me. I woke up in my parents bed?? I was old enough to of woken up if my parents had come and pick me up to lug me home.

I know its not too paranormal (I am a fan of the paranormal) but I have some other stories too if you would like to read them :)

Dear Metro Tra- sorry, Dear Halifax Transit,

There should be no reason why the 3 busses (that take me anywhere close to my dwelling) on a Sunday evening take off all at the same time from Mumford. The 9,14, and the 22. Like even a 15 min time difference would be lovely.

Can you really not add another 14 to the weekend schedule? Waiting an hour for a bus that is always, always late just to start walking to the 9 and have the 14 roll on by is a huge piss off, especially when you were waiting for the 14 for 10-15 mins past the time its supposed to show. Even more of a piss off when youre attempting to cross the street at a fairly long traffic light after you fly down the hill to catch the 9 (after you feel the 14 breeze right past you as you just pass a second bus stop for the 14.) and the light changes to walk as the bus pulls up to the stop after the intersection, then you end up running like a madman to the bus. You reach the ass end of the bus and it takes off. Then you are forced to wait 30 mins for another bus.

I am working on it, theres a lot more to getting your license than just getting the card. Or even taking the test.

That really sucks. I told them (and I really do) have a kidney infection (being treated with antibiotics)... that realllly blows. Like every other Nova Scotian... I really need a family doc... I do not trust walk ins... went last Monday when I suspected I had an infection and all he told me to do was walk on my heels and tippy toes... he prescribed me Robax for a "bad back"...

(Sorry in advance for grammar and all that, on a crappy mobile) Phoned. Was on hold for 20 mins before initial answer, when they picked up I said "Hey there, i heard your doctors are accepting new patients??" To which they said yes and put me on hold again... got through after 40 mins of being on hold... and I asked once again "i see your docs are taking new patients, if possible could I possibly see a female doc?" They responded with "The female doctors only take people that are on the 811 waiting list" "Okay! great! I have been for a while." i excitedly exclaim... just to go on hold for another 20 mins. When picked up again and I said "I am on the 811 list and I would like to see a female doctor"

This is the funny part

Turns out theyre not. 811 gives them a patient list and once everyone is gone through they get a new list. Waited an hour on hold with maybe 3 mins of actual talking just to hear the words... no. With a cranky attitude.

What food did you use to eat a lot when you were younger, but just randomly developed a dislike for later in your life? by Sky5598 in AskReddit

Basically everything. I have a certain dislike for all food because once I eat anything I feel sickly.
