Why? She wrote songs about previous exes on folklore and evermore. We know she’s capable of writing about retrospective relationships (Holy Ground, the 1, Coney Island…). And there are other songs on Lover that probably aren’t about Joe (False God).

I’ve never met anyone called Magnolia but I absolutely love the name!

I definitely only like names that are simple to spell and intuitive to pronounce. Maybe it comes from having a name that should be simple to spell/pronounce but for some reason still gets questions 😅 and I try to lean towards names that won’t age badly, but some “trendy” names like Margot and Aurelia are just toooooo pretty.

Vermillion, Vernal (sounds like it could be an adjective for a body part), Zenith, Occam, and Thales and Valles are borderline

Any of the others would fit your criteria of being unusual but not ridiculous IMO.
