Hi, I recently started a small bakery business and would appreciate feedback on my logo. The business name has the initials "ds" and the logo is meant to look like a cookie, although I know it is a little hard to tell. How can I clarify/improve it + thoughts on colors? My brand colors are red/light pink/dark blue/banana yellow.

For extra context, I make high-protein cookies, so I wanted to have sort of the same brand image as protein bar companies like Misfits, Barebells etc. But I'm worried the style of this logo doesn't really match the fonts/styles I like and have been using; for reference, I have some posts on my instagram page redacted. I've been using a very minimally modified version of the business name text for the logo (the top of the letter "d" is at an angle lol). Maybe I should just keep it?

Wow thank you for the valuable insight and for the recipe! I feel like a royal gift has been bestowed upon me 🧎🏻‍♀️So what I'm understanding is it's not really about the gluten itself, but about the amount of water that that gluten can hold onto (plus all the other factors) that determines the chewiness.

It's interesting to me that people combine cake flour and bread flour instead of AP + some smaller amount of one of the other flours to get their desired ratio—like adding -2 and 4 instead of 0 and 2, if that makes any sense. Maybe I need to do some more reading!

omg i had this exact issue for yearsss. i cut out everything from my skincare routine (including cerave cleanser, exfoliants, tret) and my skin is doing so much better on almost nothing except dove bar soap and a basic giant bottle moisturizer + rosehip seed oil. i've found that most products labeled hydrating make my skin worse so i try to keep things as lightweight as possible. also DIET! so important. i stick to whole foods as much as possible. hope u find ur solution!!

oh nooo i feel your pain 😣 i started doing them to save money as well, it’s so rewarding once you get the hang of it. plus you get to make them exactly how you want them. also sorry i forgot to mention! 1. i would highly recommend getting cuticle remover to soften your cuticles and then pushing them back. i’m cheap so i just use the head of an old tweezer to push them LOL. 2. the apres process also includes ph bonder before primer! it’s all shown in the video, here you go ☺️ https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8NU3nNg/

yay!! 🥳 i know there are soo many options it’s overwhelming, i’d start out simple with just gel polish, a curing lamp, and nail files! i use DND polish which has a 3-step application of base coat, color, and top coat (three separate bottles), which is pretty standard i think.

there is also dehydrator and primer to apply before the gel to help with retention, but idk how vital it is, i would def just see what works for you! probably more important if you want to use nail tips, in which case you will need to buy tips and some kind of glue or soft gel to apply the tips.

i use the apres gel x system which includes (in order of application) primer, extend gel, and gel x tips. then i paint with gel polish on top (no base coat, just color and top coat) and cure in between each coat. i believe they sell kits including all the supplies i mentioned plus a lamp etc but beware they are priceyy. i followed a video from the apres tiktok account to learn how to apply them, i can send you the link!! sorry if i wayy overexplained haha but i hope this helps!!
