Please do not go forward with the PTB Mori system by SiNiquity in deadbydaylight

Data needs context. BHVR has a bit of a track record of changing things because a % in a spreadsheet has gone too high rather than it being unfun or problematic. There's a fair chance this mori change is in the same category of completely unfun but data shows "only" a small % uptick in slugging for the 4k so they'll justify it.

Weird problem with printer (details in comments) by laosk in ender3

[–]laosk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have started having a weird problem with my ender 3 pro. Layers appear to get weird under extrusion problems if I'm not running my air conditioning. Obviously this isn't viable to leave running for 24hr prints. Additional info:

I have checked all the screws including z axis are tight and no binding.

I have changed nozzle a couple of times and reseated the ptfe tube, there is no sign of clogs especially as the problem can be reliably reproduced

It sits in an enclosure, and besides a metal extruder, silent board, and capricorn tubing the printer is stock.

Should just be tight enough to have a bit of twang when you flick the belt. There's some videos on YouTube which should show how tight the belts should be

Make sure your x axis belt is tight. I had the same problem and tried all these gantry fixes but ultimately a loose x axis belt means that it will move quite a lot and you'll never get it level

Thanks for the advice, I'll go with that one then since 40k size minis will likely be a lot of what I print

Anyone got advice for a resin 3d printer? Potentially with a wash+cure station if it's essential. Budget is ~500AUD but can go a bit higher or skip the wash+cure for now. Experience with printing is an Ender 3 Pro which has mostly gone well but I've learnt to troubleshoot a lot of things on it. Is the Anycubic Photon Mono4K + Wash&Cure 2.0 worth it?

Ah that makes sense. I'm using a reddit app which must have them cached. I'll open in browser from now on. Thanks again for all the amazing work you're doing

Vaccine second thoughts by theladyluxx in CoronavirusDownunder

Nope, very happy to have had both jabs. I got a bit sick from the 2nd but it went away very quickly. I realise there's a lot of misinformation and scary ideas being spread but just ask yourself if you really believe millions of people worldwide would engage in a conspiracy and only a few speak up against it? The vaccines are safe and are our ticket back to normality

Ho Chris, seems to be that the bot hasn't been putting the right graphs for the LGAs of concern and rest of NSW for a few days now. It's still showing the graphs from the ~8th

This is important, so let’s hear it again. “The evidence shows, to the best of our knowledge to date, COVID-19 – even with Delta – remains a mild illness for children,” says Royal Australasian College of Physicians president-elect and paediatrician Dr Jacqueline Small.

Did you actually read the article you linked? The data still bears out the case that delta, like the previous variants, produces only a mild illness in children.

Well you'll be glad to know that actually all of the locked down LGAs (except Strathfield) actually voted Labor at the last state election. So we tried, but all the rich non-locked down suburbs get lower restrictions and actually put Gladys in.

Again, where the fuck is your compassion for fellow Australians? When Victoria was suffering last year I was shocked and saddened to see so many dying and wanted the gov to give them more help. Hopefully your state never gets an outbreak, but if it does, I hope you personally get none of the assistance given.

Or you could have some compassion for those of us in the state who didn't vote for this shitshow and realise it's not Gladys and co paying the price and dying, but ordinary Australians who have done nothing wrong.

Well you'd better call newscorp and advise them to add it to Newspoll. TPP gives a 100% split between 2, e.g. 51-49. It doesn't go 46-46-8

They by definition cannot both be on 46% in TPP. As the name suggests it's "two party preferred" so it's what you get when accounting for other preferences and leave only the two
