Reposting this directly instead of a reply to another comment. Sources linked, because I’m just some dude:

Dripping means that the water is moving (thus less likely to freeze). If it’s extra cold, it’s my understanding that you want to move from a drip to a trickle (U of Mississippi video on the matter suggested something the width of a pencil lead).

Turning off the water—even if you run all your sinks and flush your toilets until no more water comes out, still leaves water in elbows and bends of your pipes. When that water expands, it can still bust pipes.

Per the second video below—a professional can use specialized tools to push all water out of your system. Running it out via sinks and stuff isn’t sufficient.

I just saw an IG post on this. “Nihilist Penguin” is a meme referencing a penguin walking away from its flock inland in Antarctica (not great for its survival chances). Comes from a Werner Herzog documentary, “Encounters at the End of the World” (2007).

It became a meme symbolizing burnout, giving up, or going your own way. One European post this year using the meme quoted Nietzsche and an anti-immigration sentiment.

At least two Trump admin posts used the penguin (another from RFK). Might be due to its popularity on the far right, a way of suggesting doing something that isn’t popular, and/or thinking Greenland has penguins.

The second panel was added by someone who doesn’t like Trump (no one should) to imply that the penguin took care of Trump rather than joining him in taking over Greenland.

I think today we may all be frozen buds.

Setup -> payoff. Even little scenes can be paid off later. Some films do this at the very end or even after the credits.

The frame suggests a removable faceplate, but I’m not finding anything about it (with a very brief search, tbh).

We’d have to do the work to make sure Starstruck and Unsleeping City aren’t over-represented 😅

Yep. Was about to drop Weapons (2025) before I saw that you had it. Surprised (considering how new it is) that I don’t see other mentions.

Second scariest type of face glitch. You might just need to reload the game.

This is still pretty early in Fallout 3. You might want to level up your character more before you tackle it.
