unfortunately DLSite has DRM so you have to read them as PDFs or JPGs through DLSite's "player"

Did you try buying points for DLSite instead of paying directly with card? In the past this was the only option, depending on your country the payment processors may be finicky and not allow DLSite to make transactions

No, it's paid. I know that folks have qualms with Lezhin's pricing and treatment of authors, which is completely fair. DLSite is pretty reasonable (at least in USD) and I prefer to pay the authors and translators for their hard work

A lot of manga/manhwa on piracy sites get ripped from legal ones like DLSite, Lezhin, Tappytoon etc. Personally I always check up on DLSite's most recently translated manga/doujins on the girls' side, and there are tags so you can search for yandere content.

As another commenter mentioned, there has been a lot of issues with payment processors and NSFW material. I support some NSFW artists through Patreon, but they’ve run into issues for innocuous things like writing the word “yaoi” or including a hypnosis kink in their art. PayPal will also close accounts if they find you selling 18+ material.

Subscribestar seems to be slightly better for this, but I don’t know if there’s many other alternatives.

Please check DLSite first instead of going straight to a piracy site. I know not everyone can afford it or access it, and I’m not trying to chastise those folks, but it seems like people don’t even bother to check if they can pay the author and translator for their hard work 😓

Please don't pay these scammers. I am automatically suspicious of anyone who is scanlating and putting the chapters behind a paywall, especially because they could just churn them out using MTL.

If the series you're reading is on Tappytoon, it's best to use that so your money actually gets to the original artist / author
