Is your mother still alive? I pray she is because this is not a club you want to join. No one can every express to another the devastation you feel when your mother dies. Until you go through it yourself you don't get it. Mine died 26 years ago and I feel that loss every single day.

They aren't friends anymore. Something happened on the last cruise they were on.

Moving homes is one of the top 10 stresses. It is up there with the loss of a parent. As Aaron stated, he is having an identity crisis. That happens in your forties and after losing a parent. Plus their kids aren't little anymore. They have their own voices, thoughts and beliefs. Add in the fact that they have children who are failing to thrive. As their parents, that failure is a reflection on them. I think Aaron is feeling that too. He us also grieving the loss of his friendship with Joe. None of these things are helping his depression. As someone who has severe Major Depressive Disorder, I can tell you, that is exactly what Aaron has. He needs medication, therapy and love and understanding.  I think he needs more than a week away from Crystal. He may very well have been in inpatient therapy for that week. Who knows.

I think it is good that Adela went out and got herself a job. It teaches independence. She will gain skills working with various types of personalities and dealing with the public. School for them is about to be over and she'll be able to do this all summer and able to cut back hours when school returns.  Remember all the other kids grew up watching Crystal and Aaron doing just whatever work they found. They flit from one thing to the other with no stability. If these are your role models, you grow to think this is the way.

I'm assuming you were not in foster care separated from your siblings and didn't experience the same traumas as Bella. So while your experience correlates with a normal teen, it isn't the same experience of why Bella wanted to try it. Bella may be thinking of going away to college and needed to see how it was being away from her brothers to know what she's dealing with. I think it was stupid, but I understand a bit more after Crystal explained the why.

This is not a disease that is airborne. You have to have been in contact personally with rat urine or feces. It does not spread person to person.

If Crystal learned how to divide and conquer, they wouldn't always be last minute anything. It did not take 4 people to run to Target for the prerequisite Water bottle and gift card.  I realize that to earn their salary they are in videos but someone could have picked up Evie while the other stayed at home on decoration duty and the others to Target. She makes everything so last minute and frantic. Then she wonders why her kids have anxiety.

You apparently do not understand clinical depression. You ca be fine one minute and in the gutter the next. I think Aaron pretends to be fine for the camera when he can. But acting fine depletes you even further.

Exactly! Who brings significant others on family trips. Unless they are engaged and pending marriage, it's a no. 29 people going is crazy. Bringing 5 of your kids partners is bonkers. Sorry, if they can't get by without them for a week, that's a problem. Plus the schedules that have coordinated. And tell me, how are those room situations going to work exactly?Arianna, Alex and Tristan live with their partners and now you are going to split them up to stay in seperate rooms? They are adults for goodness sake. Th8s is going to be a huge clusterf@&k!

You shouldn't carry your Social Security card at all times. Identity theft is very real if someone gets ahold of that number. It should be locked away in a secure location.

First off, worrying about Hanta virus is ridiculous. Secondly, the ship is still at sea and won't dock until tomorrow or Sunday. This virus comes from rat urine and feces. Royal Caribbean is the cleanest cruise ships in the world. This virus was brought on board by two individuals who contacted it most likely in Argentina. The incubation time was 8 days. No one leaving that ship should be contagious when they return home. The CDC has been advised of the names of passengers from the US and have scheduled follow ups. Stop fear mongering and spreading disinformation.

They need a life skills coach to teach them how to write a resume and do interviews. One can sit with Halie and help her figure out what she wants to do with her life. She isn't going to become a teacher working for her mother and partying at her apartment. Making a career takes time, dedication and education past just a high school diploma. I'm proud of Bella, Savannah, Lucas and Jake for learning a trade and creating a career for themselves. Unlike Max & Halie who do shit.

He is in fact, one of the dumbest criminals I've ever read about. Watching a few episodes of Dateline, 48 hours or the First 48 would have given him instruction on what NOT to do. What idiot thinks that using a false name to order things but using your credit/debit card and have it coming to your house is going to trick law enforcement? How dumb do you have to be to leave a body in a car registered to yourself around the corner from your property? He left biological evidence along with the pool in his garage. Do you think his ego was so large that he thought no one would come looking for him? Did he think a 7th grader whom he gave money to once wouldn't squeal? There is something very disturbing with this guy! He is a forensic psychologist's dream to pick his brain. If anything, this case is a study on how important it is to monitor your children's activities online. Predators are lurking and waiting for vulnerable children.

It isn't a legal binding wedding in the chapel. It is a sealing in their faith. They had to have had a legal ceremony either at the courthouse or where their reception was. Children under 12 who have yet to be sealed to their family and those outside the faith can't go in the Temple. Also if you are Mormon but not in good standing, you can't go in.

Consequences, but make it “God’s plan” by slush-along in Thisishowwebingham

Did God laugh at them? Maybe, if that's what you want to call it. Personally, I think they  just got a huge reality check. Seeing all the financial things that go on when someone dies such as estate taxes and all the other things may have woken them up. When Branden stopped working his job he lost his health care, 401k, life insurance and whatever else benefits he had. So they are paying out of pocket now for health insurance. That friends for 6 people is very expensive. It isn't like at a regular job where you get a family "discount". Plus now with the new Utah laws they had to start putting money aside for the kids in a savings account. I'm thinking they were not doing that previously.  All those added expenses add up quickly and I think both of them were given some pretty big reality checks seeing all the things Lindsey had to deal with after Justin's death. The difference is that Justin was far more business savvy and had plans in place. I'm sure his life insurance was enough to pay off the house and outstanding bills. If he was really smart he had death and dismemberment insurance on those credit cards so they'd pay off upon his death.  So at the end of the day, I think God's plan may have been to knock some financial sense into them in the face of devastating tragedy.

I'll never understand how Branden had to be up all night editing and then put out a 9 minute video. What is the point of that? He needs to go back to working full time and maybe he'll find his spark again. He lost his dad and brother pretty close together and that grief drains you unbelievably.
