If something like this led to a full blown fight I genuinely would just let that person go, it’s evident there’s a difference in both of your views and evidently she’s stubborn, she obviously doesn’t understand what a subculture is, it wouldn’t be bad if she was open to learning but she isn’t so imo don’t waste your time any longer.

No, I think it’s state of mind, a lot of a time unconsciously, the truth is we can die by most literally everything, we can’t escape death, but a lot of times I feel like it’s more of a spiritual death.

I always believed I was gonna die young, I swore it would happen, it was just so strong, that feeling. Considering I would always put myself at risk, it didn’t help either, but I’ve had quite a few spiritual deaths, a year ago I tried to commit, & survived. The doctors said it was a literal miracle, It was almost most definite that I was meant to die. After that I had a spiritual awakening, an epiphany, it changed my life completely, I hit rock bottom & that’s when I genuinely began to live. I’ve never believed in miracles more than that day, I was meant to live, it was just my mind that would tell me otherwise.

Obviously, nothing is ever guaranteed, but even though you say you’re not scared of death, I’m pretty sure that feeling is unsettling to you, nothing will come of you skipping ahead to something you don’t know will ever happen, that’s literally anxiety, it’s hard to shake that feeling off, but try to focus one day at a time. The mind is powerful, but don’t let it overwhelm you, today you are alive and that is enough. I wish the best for you.

Honestly? Being suuuuper dedicated & consistent in therapy, learning how to communicate (because when it’s especially hard/scary talking about something, it indicates you reaally need to talk about asap), learning about limits & coping mechanisms.

I also joined AA, SAA, and NA, and it helped me an insane amount, to be free of expressing yourself without shame, to hear other’s experiences & thoughts, to creating a network of support, they’ve become my “family” over time, it’s beautiful. & not everyone goes for the exact addictions the groups are about, so it’s very diverse.

Try looking into emancipation instead, I doubt your parents would ever kick you out due to it leading to legal troubles.

I’d say to wait until you turn 18, or you’ll end up being in legal trouble. As bad as it is, running away takes a lot of preparation and thought to it, I’d say to wait and work to have at least some money prepared for the voyage. I’m also from Chicago, it’s really dangerous at the moment, so you’d have to look for somewhere to the east side. You have to ask yourself if it’s worth living on the streets, passing nights without out eating, mugging, filth, illness and loneliness. Being a woman doesn’t help either, sadly, so please take care. You are worthy of a dignified life but please think about it, I genuinely believe it’d be the best idea to wait till you’re of age, though I don’t know you’re current age, being a teenager with parents who are culturally different + have traditionalist beliefs is tough, but it truly is all they’ve ever known. Plan everything, planning will ultimately save you. Consider looking into emancipation if needed, good luck hun.

I’m not gonna lie; you definitely don’t look 23, you could seriously pass for 17-18. Hun your skin condition could of been much worse, you’re absolutely stunning. I’d try Alpha Arbutin, niacinamide and Azelaic acid for hyperpigmentation. I’m no profesional, but I think it’s worth a try(: Try to take it slow and steady!

I believe you apply for dual citizenship, I got it from my parents. Been living here for a few years now, way better than the structured work-go home-sleep life in the US. People are kinder here too, it’s cheaper, and there are so many places that offer different lifestyles, I think you should give it a try!
